Working Moms, what are your hours?

I'm curious how much flexibility the other working moms get.

I currently work about 10-6.

I want to see if I can come in to work a little later 1-2x per week so I can take DS to preschool prep type classes. What I really want is to work only 4 days but I think that may be asking for too much. I just started this new job in January.

7:30 - 8ishAM and done around 4:30ish or earlier

Today is my last day , but typically I was working...from about 9am-5:30.

shes at daycare at 730am, and we pick her up around 520pm. I HATE it

typically i get in at 7:15am and leave at 5:15pm

uGHH...

I work from 8-4; however, I commute to NYC from PA every day. So im out of the house by 6:15 on daycare days (DH does the drop off/pickup) and 6:25 on the 2 days my mom has DS.

My commute now is 2 hrs each way

My job is sort of flexible..offering time flex hours, 1/2 day summer fridays, work at home if need be. (although my boss was opposed to me doing that on a regular basis.)

im hoping to find something closer to home or working from home real soon!

In between 8:30-9, leave between 5-6.

My hours are 9-5, but I usually get there by 8:30 and leave between 5&6. Going back to work in 2 weeks! , so I'll be dropping DD off around 7:45-8 and picking her up between 5:30 & 7ish. My office is pretty flexible on hours though and I should be able to leave early most fridays in the summer as my office is deserted then!

Flex hours....We have to be in anytime between 7:30-9:30...as long as I work 8 hours..and wfh 1 day a week

8:30-2:30 and he comes with me to daycare in our building, which is GREAT!

9:30 - 5:30 or 10 - 6

I also pump twice a day from 12 - 12:30 and 4 - 4:30.

I work from home most Fridays, but I do go into the office if necessary.

8:30-5....I wish I could come in earlier and leave earlier but that wouldn't fly!

I work in a library that is open late/weekends, so I have some real flexibility. Oh and we have a 35 hour work week. I work the following:

Mon: 3:30pm-9pm
Tues: 9am-2:30pm
Wed - Fri: 9am - 6pm

DH & I split Mon & Tues so 1 of us always has DS on Mon & Tues. and he works 8-5 Wed-Fri so I drop DS off w/my parents in the AM and he picks him up at night. It's crazy hours, but we're very lucky & it works out very well for us.

8-4:30 no flexibility...DD goes to daycare in another building where I work...my commute is around an hour each way with her.

I have to work 7 hrs and 45 minutes a day (I usually end up working more though).

On days I don't drop DS at daycare, I work 7:45 until 4:45, on days that I do drop him, it's more like 8:45-4:45.

To work 7:45-4:45, I leave the house at 6:20 and I get home at 6:20.

I get one day a week from home as well.

Sometimes I work later but, I try to just bring things home with me since I'm set up to fully work from there and I can work on the train.

ETA: My justification for the commute is the flexibility and the fact I get 29 days of PTO a year.

730am to 530 pm
I only work 4 days a week though
(Im off on Wednesdays)

38 hour weeks (1/2 hour lunches)

weekdays rotate

My hours are technically 8:30 - 4:30
But in order to get to the office by 8:30, I have to get Sean to daycare by 6:45 so I catch a 7:14 train.
Leaving at 4:30, gets me back to the daycare by 6:00 PM.

I have some flexibility as far as needing to come in late/early, leave late/early here and there if really necessary - but as far as flexing my own hours on a regular basis, sikipping lunch to leave early and they type of thing - No, I can't do that.

8:15-4:15, but i leave LI at 7 and get home at 6pm. i work in downtown brooklyn
