Tell your parents? I would like to wait till I have it confirmed by the doctor on the 9th but it is killing my poor husband not being able to tell his family. TIA

We waited awhile because on my history with MC. But I know of people who told their parents while the stick was still wet. I guess it's up to you and what your feelings are about it. Good luck!

When the line appeared on the HPT I ran to my car and drove to my moms house to show her Then @ an hour later we called MIL...so yeah I am probably the wrong person to ask.

I couldnt wait to tell my mom and sister. I think I waited like 2-3 days? I told them pretty quickly...then we told DH's mom and brothers 2 weeks after I think?

If was SOON for both sides. We couldnt keep it in!!!

i told my sister while the stick was still wet. my parents I told a week later in person (we were going to MD for a visit so figured it would be nice to tell them in person).

I told my Mom and Dad after I had two good betas. I really wanted to wait to tell them but I figured if something went wrong again I'd need someone to know what was going on. It was good to get off my chest but not that exciting since I didn't really know how excited we should be so neither did my parents. We're all on eggshells for now.

We still haven't told my inlaws or anyone else. We are waiting because of a prior loss. Will come out around the end of the 1st tri I think after my NT Scan if everything is still good.

we told our parents with both after we got it confirmed by the doc. I was almost 7 weeks with both.

I told my mom, dad and sis right away but they knew the IF issues we were going through. We told DH's mom and sis the next day after my Beta came back and his dad and stepmom the following monday.

We waited on extended family (well except for the people my dad told since he has a BIG MOUTH)

With both pregnancies, we waited until we saw a heartbeat before telling anyone. It was about 7.5 weeks with the first and 6.5 with the second. We told immediate families first, then extended, then friends. It was all within a few days, maybe a week.

I'm almost 8 weeks and still haven't told our parents. Will more than likely after my first OB visit next week.

I found out last night and so did my parents, my MIL, my sister and both BILS, and my FSIL.

We told my immediate family really quickly, I think I was about 5 weeks. I had gotten 2 + betas by then and was starting to feel and . Since I work with them, I couldn't hide it without my Mom wondering if I was deathly ill.

We told DH's family the week after, at about 6 weeks - we didn't want them to be left out and it happened to be MILs birthday that weekend.

We told my mom the day of BFP, his parents a couple of days later, and BFFs a week later. We're not telling anyone else until our Dr appt, then we'll do immediate family. Everyone else 10/12 weeks is the plan!!

with this pregnancy - i told my family the day of BFP and i mean my entire family because no one can keep a secret and it was christmas

told brothers and SIL almost right away, like 2-3 days after we found out at 4 weeks. told my mom 2 days later. waited till the weekend of fathers day (1 week later i think) to tell DH's family and my father. we wanted to tell everyone in person. so immediate family we didnt wait to tell before i saw the dr. then we told some close friends over the weeks. im waiting until after the NT scan at a little past 12 weeks to tell our big gigantic extended families and the rest of our friends. the exception is im telling my nana today because its her 90th bday!

DS#1 wore a t shirt that said I'm going to be a big brother. We told them around Christmas and the shirt had penguins on it with santa hats.

We told them at 6 weeks right after 1st dr appointment but before seeing heartbeat.

We told them right away when I saw the "pregnant" on the test...

went to their house and MIL's house that night...

but that's all of who we told until it was confirmed by the doctor, and even after that we only told family.

Once my 1st trimester is over Thursday, I will come out on FB and tell my friends and very extended family...
