I was about 8 weeks along when we told our parents. It was on Mother's Day and two days after our first doctor's appointment which confirmed the heartbeat!
I wanted to wait until it was confirmed, just in case, didnt want to put our families through that dissapointment.

A few days before my first doc appt @ 8 weeks. I also wanted to wait until after the appt, but DH couldn't keep it to himself anymore and blurted it out during dinner.

told my parents when the stick was still wet. looking back though, i'll probably wait a few weeks next time  haven't told dh's parents yet. we plan to do it around wk 12.
