What the heck is going on
I am trying to read posts and every time I click on them they are being taken down. Is there drama or a glitch in the board?

Please dont assume. I did NOT ask for it to be pulled. Its safe to say drama was brewing and in no time it would be pulled..

I'm sorry you didn't have a chance to save the replies.
The basic gist was to have DH get an SA done as soon as possible... and in a few months, CD 3 and CD 21 bloodwork and go from there.

there was my thread- on which the word 'relax' was loosely used- which caused an old thread to be bumped. The old thread had "drama" brewing so I assume they pulled both to nip it in the bud...

I am truly sorry if this makes this thread get pulled again but it seriously irritates me when people say "just relax".
1) The fact is I know MANY people including ones on this board who temped, used OPK's, and obssessed over timing who DID get pregnant. So "just relaxing" was not a factor for them.
2) I absolutely HATE when someone mentions that someone they know was going through IVF or infertility and then "relaxed" and got pregnant. Infertility is a medical issue it does NOT get solved by relaxing.
3) It is a fact that the longer that you are trying in that first year the more likely you are to be pg. If 70-80% of people get preggo in year one than by continuing to BD you just upped your odds. I do not believe relaxing had one iota to do with it.
4)Often men who have low sperm counts don't know it. So if you are BD every day and then "relax" for a month - you may have unkowingly upped your chances. It's not because you relaxed it's because his sperm count was better
ughh. I could go on and on. I really think it's a horrible thing to say to someone and actually puts the blame on women for not getting pregnant....

and just to clarify I was not telling anyone to relax in this thread I was just trying to lighten things up a bit...believe me I have heard those words way too often and would LOVE to never hear them again.

I get that the word relax is a horrid, horrid word to use while TTC ( i get that and agree) but I truely don't think Jess or Gabbie meant any harm whatsoever, I feel bad it has turned into this.
Why does everyone have to jump on this attacking bad wagon? Instead why don't we just hear out what Jess and Gabbie were just merely stating from their experience.
Christ we can all get pg. for many of reasons or can't get pg. for many of reasons but I don't think jumping on people like this is necessary and frankly it brings the board down....

Once again, well put. Overthinking it is just another word for relax. The whole point is not to make the woman feel like she did something wrong for not getting pregnant. There is no cure-all fix all. If there was, IF doctors would not exist. We would all be pregnant.

I don't know about saying that its a blame on the woman. By saying that BOTH partners try not to over think things -- its not putting blame on just the woman.
Obviously this is one of those topics that everyone gets sensitive about and feels their own way about it, and interpreting things that are being said in a different manner.
