What movie has ever had a profound effect on you
What movie? real or not? Has a movie ever changed how you think you are down to the core?
I am thinking about this because I just finished watching the movie The paper clips for the 2nd time..I cannot grasp the fact of what 6 million paperclips looks like--and the additional 5 million that also represented the non-jews killed during the Holocaust, until this movie. This movie represents on of the most fantastic lessons I saw.
My second choice..Pay it forward..another great lesson and a great way to live your lfe.

dead man walking.
and a movie that is not out yet but was at the tribeca film festival 'where god left his shoes' it's about being homeless in nyc with a family.

Two movies that have really changed me and how I think are JFK and American History X. JFK has had the most affect on me. It has totally changed my viewpoint of the government. Not so much the movie itself but the movie got me into reading about the assassination and I've read a lot of things that have made me very uncomfortable about our government.

basketball diaries. I know that's an oldie but I saw it when I was younger and never heavy drugs because of it.
I can't say it's an effect that made me do something, but obviously Nightmare Before Christmas has been one movie that's meant the world to me since I was little.

This may sound a little cheesy but, The Notebook. Greatest love story IMO! My boyfriend and I had a short relationship when we were much younger (first loves) and lost touch. Many years later, thanks to being inspired by the movie, I was able to reconnect and we've been together ever since!
