What age did you stop putting DC in a high chair?
My daughter is only 15 months old and is already refusing it! She wants to sit in a chair at the table because that is how she eats at school, and how her older sibling eats. This causes a HUGE mess. Should I continue to force her to stay in the high chair or is she already too old for it?

How about a booster that straps to the chair? We use that for DD alot. At 15 months, I wouldnt be comfortable letting her on a chair alone yet.
ETA DD is 14 months and we always use either the high chair or the booster.

Well that's what we have been doing but the problem is that she picks up her plate (we learned to use a paper plate but still) and flings it (and the food) around, she reaches over for her brother's meal and drink, and, even strapped in, I don't feel comfortable leaving her side for a second because she leans over and could technically still tip over. I am not ready for this!

I don't know, but my older DD was in the high chair til probably after she was 3, or around that time.

Both my DC switched from a high chair to a booster seat at about 18 months old. Now at 2 and 3 years old sometimes they sit in the booster seats, and other times they just sit in a regular chair to eat. You should try a booster seat this way your DD will be at the table and maybe she will like it better.
