i had an mc last spring and did the d&c so they could test. i am very glad i did.
at the time i couldnt even handle the idea of the surgery but like others say..its more emotional than physical for most.
i am so very very sorry ! we are all here for you! xoxoxox

I am so very sorry for your loss...i too had a missed miscarriage. I opted for the d&c, and was glad i did.

My OBGYN just called me back, they scheduled me for a D&C in a couple of days, she said if I start bleeding before that they will take me urgently.

Oh god. I'm sooo sorry!!! Just know that we are all here offering comfort and cyber shoulders to cry on! I think going with the dc is the best choice for you. I personally have miscarried on my own in the past and it was the hardest thing to go through. Please keep us updated on how you're doing!

I am sooooo sorrry ---- so many of us have been in your shoes and it is very hard --- but it does get easier.
I found out I lost our baby at 8w4d and my Dr strongly urged me to get a D&C --- she said that going through it naturally could be very painfull and could tke a few days.
I ended up having the D&C a mere 5 hours after we found out -- and am honestly so glad that I did. The procedure itself is not painful (I was in more pain prior) just emotionally draining.... but you know that it is done and you don't have to wait for it to happen.
Feel free to FM if you want someone to talk to ---- and please visit the TTC & Pregnancy after Miscarriage forum.... they are allll so helpful over there.
Again -- I am soooo sorry
I agree with the above. Both my m/c's happened naturally. The second lasted several days and was very painful. I would suggest the D&C as well.

I am so deeply sorry to hear this.
I had a natural miscarriage (not by choice though) but if I did have a choice I probably would go for the D&C. Lost of prayers for you like the other girls said, it does get easier. Doesnt feel like it now, but it will
