so, back from the dr. and it wasn't good. The urine test at the office was neg.  i dont understand since i got a positive on the digital this am. he did internal and he said i wasnt. they also took blood, so i will find out on mon. what the numbers were. im just so lost and confused. he also told me to stay away from testing until about 5 days until after i miss my period. and i thought i tested later than most people. i tested a day after my missed period. well, i am trying to be positive especially since its christmas next week. i dont want this to ruin my holiday. just wish i could understand and i could be celebrating in a diffefrent way.

That is strange that you got a positive on a digital this morning.

at this point he wouldnt see anything on an internal so i dont buy that he said you werent pregnant based on that. even a sono this early wouldnt likely show anything.
that being said the whole thing does sound like a chemical. its too bad they didnt write stat on the bloodwork so you could get it back today and see what the HCG level was at.

yeah i agree. i thought it was a little weird when he said that. it also wasnt my dr. it was the other dr. in the practice, so i felt a bit rushed. like "ok, you're not preg. keep trying." i still have the appt. fri (which would have been my 6 week) im thinking of going anyway bc it is my dr. just so i can ask him some questions.

I just saw your recent posts. I know exactly how you feel. It is so confusing. I am so sorry you are going through this.
FWIW, when I miscarried (it was a chemical), I was still testing positive with FRER and digitals on the day of my 2nd beta; which was only 7!!! My 1st beta was only 25, then 2 days later it was down to 7 and I started bleeding that same day.

i'm sorry you are going through this and that it is so confusing and frustrating. i know how you feel too with my chemical, i tested positive on a digital the morning of my first beta and that bloodwork came back at 11....too low and i was completely blindsided because of that positive digital test. a few days later my beta dropped to 2 and i started spotting. i really really hope this is not the case for you! i'll keep you in my prayers

thanks again ladies. i really needed your comfort!! Im actually doing pretty well. I think I am more frustrated than anything. We are trying to move on and spent the night being thankful for all we have, especially each other. As DH said "there are so many options for a child but we have nothing if we dont have each other, thats the most important thing."

Im so sorry1! I def think you should keep the appointment and go in to see your Dr Friday. It may help give you answers and peace of mind.

i just talked to the dr. and he said i was def. pregnant. but of course i forgot to ask what the numbers were. i am keeping my appt. on friday, so i will be asking some more questions then. i guess its good to know that we can do it on our own.
