VENT - A rough weekend
This weekend was awful! I am in my 7th month TTC and have been feeling pretty down about this last cycle (I realize some have been doing this far longer than I have, but passing the 6 month mark was hard for me). On Friday I found out that one of my friends had a beautiful baby girl. On Saturday we had all of DHs family over with their kids and his pregnant cousin complaining about how miserable she was in her pregnancy. Then, on Sunday we had to go to a first birthday party for another one of our friend's kids where 2 of our friends were also there talking about their pregnancies. I know these are all happy things and I am truly happy for all, but also so envious that I am feeling super-down today. I am so  to even feel this way, I feel like an awful person!

You certainly are not alone and should not feel embarrassed. It can be really hard to be happy for others when they have no idea what you're going through. If it's any consolation, I went to my OB/GYN and she said it is very normal for it to take about a year for a couple to get pregnant. So you're certainly not out yet....Hang in there! You're time will come soon.

Dont feel awful! I feel exactly the same way about having to go to christenings, 1 year bday parties, etc 24/7. This board is the place to vent because we all know how you feel and I am assuming most of the girls on here feel the same way. I went to a BBQ once with 3 newborns and I sat at the table with all of the other girls and the whole conversation was about PG, delivery, and baby stuff. One of the other wives there knew about my M/C in early 2010 so I felt so awkward the entire time and just complained to DH about it. He doesnt get it either and just told me that it is not nice to be jealous. I dont think a guy would feel like crying after listening to all of this stuff.
