Tuesday QOTD

Hey ladies,

I'm still new to this board and I thought it would be nice if we could get to know each other a bit. Post an interesting couple of facts / tidbits about yourself. That way, when we see "Crazy4Babies2010," instead of reading through her comments and forgetting a second later who wrote it, it'll be like, "Oh! That's the girl who loves Billy Joel and eats string cheese every day!" Or whatever.

Facts about me:

- I've seen the movie "Clue" with my sister about 100 times and between the two of us, we can pretty much recite the whole thing.

- After my wedding, I threw my dress into a big white garbage bag because I couldn't figure out how else to pack it and get it home. It's still in there because I'm afraid to see what it looks / smells like.

- I went to Hawaii for the past 2 summers in a row; the first time for our honeymoon and the second time as a "make-up" because I got food poisoning on our honeymoon.

1-I've worked for a major makeup company for 9 years-that being said, I'm a complete cosmetics/beauty anything junkie, and I live for fashion

2-I'm a twin!

3-I'm not a dessert person-I'd rather eat pasta or cheese!

1) My DH and I have been together since we were 16 years old. Married for 11 1/2 years and together for almost 19 years.

2) I am obsessed with ice cream. I could give up almost anything but I am an admitted ice cream addict.

3) I live and breathe for Disney World and I am dying to take my DD there. I have a giant plastic crayon where all of our spare change goes to use towards Disney one of these days and I have a "Disney Dollars" envelope. Every time we have singles we throw them in there to save and use towards Disney as well. It adds up fast!

4) I LOVE Billy Joel.........grew up listening to his music and I've seen him in concert a few times. But, on the complete opposite end of the spectrum I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Linkin Park and Breaking Benjamin.

aww, i love this!

1. Even though my day job is in Student Affairs, I'm 100% a poet. I'm in the works of writing my first manuscript that I'm hopefully--no, GOING TO--get published!

2. I don't gossip about my friends and family in real life, and I make up for all of that by reading a ridiculous amount of celebrity news/gossip.

3. My husband just got his PhD, and he's already been very successful in his field. In fact, he just took a new professor position in Philly, so we will be moving there in two weeks!

4. One of my ancestors signed the Dec. of Independence. When you pass by Francis Lewis Blvd., think of me .

This is great!!

1. I am addicted to video, PC, cell phone games. DH says I need an intervention.

2. DH and I have been together for 5 years and married for 2.5 months.

3. I have stepdaughter who is now 15 yrs old and is driving us nuts with her Born-Again Terrible 2's! But we love her to death.

4. This is kind of gross, but I still laugh when people fart, like a little kid.

1- I'm completely obsessed with with the color purple. Im talking phone, a room in my house, my pencil holder on my desk, my arm rest, my tatoo, EVERYTHING lol.

2-I am incrediably creative..If you give me a peice of paper and some glue i can make a castle...(metaphor)

3- I can recite every word from the movie SPEED. I have the collectors edition with the transcript lol

4- Im obsessed with True Blood and want to be a vampire

What a great question. I never know what facts to say about myself lol.

1. I am addicted to coke slurpees. I don't know how I'm going to stay away from them when I get my BFP.

2. I am a HUGE animal lover. I have two cats, three rabbits and a dog at home. I also keep a box and gloves in my car for helping hurt animals (and let me tell you, they always seem to find me).

3. I despise reality shows.

4. I was the first person in my family to graduate from college :)

Very cool question!

1. I am a natural redhead and pray everyday that if I have a daughter she will also have red hair. (We have a shot DH's mom was a redhead also!)

2. I am the world's biggest planner. I cannot do anything without researching/planning first. I have anxiety attacks if I am supposed to be doing something I am not knowledgable about. Mixes well with TTC huh?

3. DH and I have been together for almost 9 years, since I was 16 and he was 18. We moved into the apartment in my parents house when i was a senior in HS.

4. I LOVE cheese!

5. I make lists. A lot of them. DH finds them all over the house and drives him nuts.

1) I love listening to music...doesn't matter my mood, always makes me feel better.

2) I am a workaholic. I love my job and will do anything for my students. I spend countless hours at home researching and creating new things for my class every year. Because of this I don't understand it when a parent gets on my case since I work my a@# off. Some parents make me hate my job.

3) I have dated my DH since I was 16. We dated for 10 years before getting engaged. We've been married for 2 and a half years.

4) Although I wouldn't admit to many people that I am on LIF, I secretly love it and feel like i need to "catch up" if I haven't been on in a few days!

1) I love planning everything and anything, our wedding, vacations, work plans, TTC plans , our future registry....

2)I love being by the water, on a boat, sipping drinks, on the beach, anywhere near the water.

3)I grew up in MD and am new to LI. We live way out east so I still don't know much about LI and I've only been to Queens once, though I've driven through on the way to the city a few times.

4) My sister, only sibling, is 12 years younger than me so I had an extended childhood, you know had to write a letter to Santa, search for easter eggs, etc even though I was 17.

Fun question!

1. I miss being in school like crazy. I love writing papers and studying for midterms and finals. I think I thrive on the stress.

2. I am a planner. My father thinks it's an illness. He jokes that I probably already planned how I will die.

3. DH and I met when I was 14 and he was 17. He told me he'd marry me the night I met him and I thought he was nuts. Yeah, you can see how that turned out...12 1/2 years later.

4. I am obsessed with Taco Bell. I eat it once a week, and would eat it more if I could.

2. When my DH and I were engaged, I was obsessed with watching wedding shows. Since getting married, I can't watch them at all.

3. I live in the same house and the same bedroom as I did when I was 8 years old. It's kinda funny that the room that I used to have a Rainbow Brite poster in, I now share with my husband.

4. I went to Alaska on my honeymoon

5. I have a black belt in Taekwondo
