Congratulations on the , I also wanted to say that they saw white spots in my baby, by the time we went for the fetal echo it was gone on its own.

How long was it between when you saw the spots and when they were gone? They're going to call me to schedule the US soon and I was thinking of maybe waiting 2 or even 4 weeks so there's more of a chance for it to go away.

I've read up on a lot of things, and found an article that says exactly what I wanted to read:
The presence of an isolated intracardiac echogenic focus on fetal ultrasound does not increase the risk for aneuploidy in the absence of other risk factors in women younger than 35 years of age, Kathleen Bradley, M.D., reported at the annual meeting of the Pacific Coast Obstetrical and Gynecological Society.
Other articles say chances of a chromosomal abnormality double from whatever it was beforehand (mine was 1/10,000 after my NT ultrasound and blood test results) so that makes it 1/5,000 now.
I guess we'll see what the perinatologist says! But I'm definitely not worrying!
We are so excited about our little !!!!!!!!!!

We have to go back in a few weeks for a follow-up sono with a perinatologist because they saw a small white spot on HER heart but the doctor says he sees those maybe 4-5 times a month and has not ONCE had a baby born with an abnormality. He even thinks the spot will clear up before the next sono, but they do it just in case. Doc said not to worry, so we're not worried at all (although I knew something was "wrong" when they said we'd have to wait to see the doctor this morning). The technical term for what they say was an "intracardiac echogenic focus" which basically means... white spot lol. I said to the doctor "does this mean I get to have another free sono?" and he smiled and said "yup" and I said "ok, then!"
Congrats! My DD had the SAME exact thing on her heart and she is a perfectly healthy almost 4month old Little girls are the best
