Re: Those with CAC...
Yes, we have. DH LOVES it cold (me, not so much). It gets humid in our house, and DS has bad allergies so we leave the windows closed and the air on.

Re: Those with CAC...
We have had it on a bunch of times already, especially at night (but this weekend during the day as well). Our house is a ranch and I am not comfortable leaving DS's window open at night.

Re: Those with CAC...
Not yet, however we have ceiling fans in the den and all of the bedrooms so that helps at night.
DH uncovered it the other day.
Unfortunately, due to allergies, I really can't open the windows... and I hate it.

Re: Those with CAC...
We haven't put it on yet! I wanted to one night last month, but we didn't. I'm guessing soon though.

Re: Those with CAC...
We didn't put it on yet, but we have used just the fan for the system. We have an air cleaner in line with the ductwork so turning on just the fan helps clean the air and the circulation helps cool the house a bit. I'm sure we'll have the cooling part on by June as DH likes it cold.

Re: Those with CAC...
No and we wont for awhile. I always try to hold out as long as possible because as much as I love being comfortable, I love the smell of fresh air and having the windows open more. Until Im really miserable from the heat we try to leave it off.

Re: Those with CAC...
Not yet. When I designed the new half of our house, I made sure there was plenty of cross-ventilation, so the house gets a really nice cooling breeze at night. We also have ceiling fans in a lot of the rooms. I am all about staying comfortable, but I also don't want to spend money on the CAC until I need to.

Re: Those with CAC...
No way! LOL I'm too cheap. It has to get REALLY hot for me to do that. For now we're just keeping windows open. The breeze so far has been really nice and its been cooler in the evenings.

Re: Those with CAC...
Not yet. I actually got some window fans upstairs and it keeps the air flow. (my upstairs is always hot) I know in the next few weeks though it will be time. I usually try to hold out until June.

Re: Those with CAC...
A few times. We mostly use the the ceiling fans. When we have put it on, it's just for a few minutes to cool the house down a bit. Last night was brutal and we had it on for half the night. When we lived in an apartment and didn't have to pay utilities, we slept every single night with the a/c on, even in winter. DH is like a human heater so we need it to be cold to sleep!
