CAC owners....what do you dress your DC in at night?
DD is 9 months and we are moving in a few days where we will have CAC. What do I dress her in? I love PJs with feet but can't seem to find alot of them and the ones that we have, she is quickly outgrowing.

Re: CAC owners....what do you dress your DC in at night?
Childrens place still have feety PJs, 3 for $25. I still use feety PJs for him 7 he gets a blanket. i usually leave my CAC on at 76/77 at night.
whatever you do with your CAC is do not keep turning it on and off, it will KILL the unit. Once you turn your AC on it stays on, if the weather gets cooler, turn the temp to 99 and then open the windows.
I grew up with CAC and i have had one in ALL but one apt i lived in, and when i bought my house, i said CAC or dont even show it to me.
CAC is a godsend.

I dress dd, who is 22 months old, in feetie pjs. The light ones for the summer and fleece for the winter. You can usually find them at Carter's but always at The Children's Place.

I go back and forth... Sometimes he wears the feetie pajamas from the Children's Place. They have nice light ones with a zipper front.
Sometimes he wears the footless, short sleeve Carter's pjs.
I'm still trying to figure this one out. I don't want him to be cold and I don't want him to be too warm!
We keep CAC on 75 - 76 at night.

We have a colonial and it gets hot on our second floor - I keep him in a diaper with a sleepsack.

DS wears feety pj's. We keep the house around 72-73 at night. I found some great 3 packs of the pj's at Target.

Re: CAC owners....what do you dress your DC in at night?
We always have had CAC.
I dress them in pj sets=short sleeve shirt, pants, no sock or t shirts.
My oldest sleeps with a blanket so she goes to bed with sleep shorts.

Re: CAC owners....what do you dress your DC in at night?
Feety pajamas and a light blanket since she is still in our room. Once I move her to her own crib in her room, I am going to probably just either keep her in pajamas with no blanket or pajamas and a light sleep sack ! Our house is set at 74 degrees I think. No onesie underneath, just the pj's

Re: CAC owners....what do you dress your DC in at night?
Children's Place has the feet ones on sale - I think my friend bought them for $1.99 the other day - Disney store also has them - and they are pretty cheap too.

If i do put DS in footless with short sleeves i put socks on him and a heavier blanket.
my DS is old enough that if hes hot he does push the blankie off and if hes cold he looks for it to cover himself.

sometimes I put them in fleece PJ's because I like it cold when I sleep! Other times, just shorts and t's PJ's.

Re: CAC owners....what do you dress your DC in at night?
DS is a year and he sleeps in short sleeve onesies or short sleeve/shorts pjs in cotton.
DD is 1 1/2 and sleeps in short sleeve/shorts pjs in polyester although I prefer cotton
Both my kids are so warm natured and we sleep with it on 77

Same here...
DD is 10 months and that's what I do...I use cotton pj's and on "cooler" nights - I still use the Carter's terry footed pj's...no blankets in crib, so they keep her cozy

Re: CAC owners....what do you dress your DC in at night?
I dress him in a short sleeve onesie, pj - short sleeve shirt and pants without feet and no socks.
But, I turn the CAC before I go to sleep which is usually around midnight and DH turns it on when he leaves for work before 7. If I leave the CAC on all night it is way too cold for all of us!

Re: CAC owners....what do you dress your DC in at night?
At night we keep the CAC at around 75-76. DD wears long sleeved pjs with socks no onesie. She seems fine with that.

This is exactly what we do now...so I guess I won't change anything! It gets SO cold in her room now with the window A/C so I figured the CAC wouldn't be as bad. I think I will definitely have to feel it out too.
