I watched yesterday's and today's epsiodes at the gym. I have to tell you, that I was completely turned off by Rosie.
Rosie said last week something along the lines of "what do you call a terrorist" - and left a question hanging.
The right-side pundits likened her statements to mean that she thinks our troops are terrorists. I'm not the biggest fan of Rosie's but I doubt that is what she meant.
Yesterday, Elizabeth tried to help her out in my opinion by saying that she should declare what she really meant. I am sure that there are times when Elizabeth's comments have been taken out of context by others and so she knows what she felt.
Today I thought was worse than yesterday though. I thought Rosie needs to understand that she doesn't need Elizabeth to stand up for her - it's obvious they are not friends. She also needs to understand that her way of getting points across are acusatory and demeaning. Just saying "republican crap" just undermines anything else she had to say.
I dont' feel bad for Elizabeth, she can hold her own but Rosie needs to learn tact.
And I'm sorry, Alicia Silverstone acted like a teenager in Clueless when she didn't acknowledge Elizabeth. Not only are you an actress, but you are there to promote your shows and other gigs, so treat everyone with respect. I dont care if you agree with her or not, that was inappropriate.

Joy is TRYING to read the list and Elisabeth is being a little snot.
The whole time Joy is trying to speak, Elisabeth is chiming in. God, I would have smacked her. She is so annoying!

I am kind of torn. The argument initially started b/c Rosie was trying to correct Elisabeth's statement about the terrorist being in Iraq.

I feel like Elizabeth is ALWAYS forced to defend herself. Just because Rosie's comments are louder doesn't mean they're right.

My mom's friends were at the View today! I can't wait to hear what happened during commercial breaks.
I think it is filmed weeks before it airs usually. I had tickets to go to tomorrow's show but I had to cancel!
