The video really doens't show what the fight is about, but I ama Rosie fan, and in this video it seems like it was Elisabeth who got hot under the collar.
I will miss Rosie. What other reason is there to watch the View?

IMO, this was a continuation from yesterday. You'd have to watch yesterday's fight to fully understand today.
Rosie said something stupid, it blew up in the media, and instead of defending her because "they're friends", Elisabeth gave her honest opinion. I see nothing wrong there.

ETA: Ok, I just saw it. I don't know what happenned yesterday, but I think Elisabeth should have given her an answer.

The original conversation had nothing to do with Rosie and, as usual, she had to make it about her. When did she ever support Elisabeth? Why does she all of a sudden need Elisabeth's support? I don't get it.
Elisabeth DID answer Rosie's question. She said something along the lines of 'no, i don't think that you believe our troops are terrorists, BUT when you say things like blah blh (I can't remember word for word), then that is why people say that you DO think they are terrosts.'
That was her answer. Rosie is ridiculous and if you don't believe what she believes, then according to her, you're wrong.

I can think of many reasons. The show was so much better when Meredith and Star were on the show. They had intelligent and civil debates on the show. Since Rosie, the show has become a platform for her to force her views on everyone and belittle anyone who doesn't agree with her.
The show's ratings may be up, but I don't believe it's bc people truly believe Rosie is an asset to the show.

I always turn channel 7 off at 11AM to go to CBS..T.P.I.R for the simple fact..I CANNOT STAND Rosie!!!
Thank Goodness she will not take Bob Barker's place.

I agree with this. She does not know how to debate. She dictates her opinion and expects everyone to agree.

I'm not a star Jones fan, but I do think the show was MUCH better with the original lineup.
I think Elisabeth is just as wrong for the show as Rosie is. I like Rosie, but I think she's better off on her own show. I don't think the audience of the View is full of people who appreciate what she is saying. I also just think Elisabeth can't really handle it. It was civil with the other cast because they were able to argue and stay civil. Rosie is like a bulldog and Elisabeth is like a little girl...

I think Elisabeth was right. She did a great job defending herself. She did nothing wrong. Rosie is to blame for the perception people have of her in the media - she certainly doesn't do anything to try and make it anything other than what it is - not Elisabeth.
I agree with previous poster that Rosie belittles anyone who doesn't agree with her.

I hear you. I would not shake the president's hand. I honestly cannot fathom anyone supporting this war or the adminstration that orchestrated and botched it along with so many other things. That list Joy behar was reading is only the tip of the iceberg.

I see - and appreciate - your point. You are right that there is a lot of emotion about the war. But, I think there is a difference doing this in a professional situation, which is what giong on a talk show is for an actor/actress, and doing it on your own time. It was totally unprofessional and totally rude.
And, as an aside, I've gotten really annoyed with celebrities lately who think they can speak to policy issues as experts. A lot of them have less education than the general public (ie many didn't go to college). Beyond that - bc I don't think a degree means everything, I don't see how they are any better qualified to address these issues than the average person. Yet many act like they are authorities. It drives me nuts!

Team Rosie here. I don't agree with everything she says but I appreciate her honesty.
Elisabeth has been riding on a high horse ever since she had dinner with Bush. She is rude and interrupts. Sure Rosie is loud, but at least she doesn't say the same thing over and over again.
Rosie is all for the troops. She visits them in the hospitals. That's more then I have seen Bush do.
I like that her opinion isn't cookie cutter. That she is not scared to speak her mind.
As a friend to Rosie, Elisabeth could have said, no Rosie, you are very pro troops....but she did not say that.
