Taking Down Holiday Decor
When do you take down your indoor decorations? Tree?
We usually wait until after New Years.
I feel like my house is going to look naked after I put everything away!

usually after Little Christmas - this year prob not until January 15th weekend - we're hosting a brunch the weekend before.
I can't wait to take it down - my house feels so cluttered.

i didn't even know that board existed
what is the FHF board for? i checked it out and it looks pretty random...i thought the conversation regarding decor would be over on this board. it is getting too confusing for me

I don't remember how long ago, I think a few months ago.. They renamed the Not Family Related (NFR) board Families Helping Families (FHF). It's basically the general board

Mine is all down. 
Normally I wait until at least the New Year, but we're remodeling part of the basement, so I had to clear all my holiday boxes/totes out of the way, which meant put all my stuff back in the totes to put into the crawlspace.

i did it today... it was my day off and the next time i'd have to do it would be the 7th. i just couldn't stand it for that much longer  i like to have my house back to normal. plus i was cleaning anyway.

I decorated a lot this year- knick-knacks, village, garland on the stairs, etc. I love apothecary jars and I filled them all with little ornaments. So today I am going to begin putting away the knick-knacky things- I have collections of snow globes and nutcrackers- and taking out the stuff that is normally there. I think I will be better off doing a little at a time.
