I was under the impression the sunscreen blocks their ability to sweat and they can heat stroke and die. I would keep the baby dressed cool with a sunhat and not have him in the direct sun.

Nothing about heat stroke and dying but it says they can overheat and become dehydrated.
Overheating and dehydration in an infant can lead to death, no?
Absolutely! Heat stroke is over heating- it is defined by a core body temperature above 105 F and usually occurs along with dehydration.
Exactly but I am not sure what sunscreen has to do with it.
Obviously you should not keep a baby in the hot sun, sunscreen or not.
