Stomach sleepers
So I just posted about how DC never naps. I have my face now pressed against this monitor watching my DD now napping on her belly for 1.5 hours.  Shes not budging. I suppose shes a belly sleeper...huh?
Question..shes 12 weeks. Has anyone else done this? Does anyone have their DC nap on their belly but night sleep on their back?

I started Kristina out when she was around 7ish weeks old.... She was miserable with the reflux.... it was the ONLY way that she didn't spit up!

First I started her out with the naps, and I saw how well she was able to turn her head while sleeping....
It turned into nighttime very quickly....
She gave me 6 hour blocks of sleep to start, and it slowly turned into 12 straight hours of sleep!

This is the first time she has napped more then 20 min. We are now going on 2 hours and 15 min. Im freaking now because she goes down for bed at 7PM! I dont know what to do now!

My first DD was a belly sleeper since about 5 weeks old. I was nervous being a first time mom. With my DS he was a belly sleeper from day one.

You are most definitely going to have to reconfigure her schedule.... Just take it ez, and see how the weekend goes.

My DS' ped told us at his first appointment to have him nap on his belly, that it helps prevent a flat head as well!

Same here, started at 8 weeks and he was sleeping through the night at 11 weeks. I think for some reflux babies it really helps.

if it was me i would let her sleep. you never know, she could sleep for 12 hours!!
glad napping her on her belly worked for you. i know it is scary but if this is what is right for her then it will make her a happy baby - and you a happy mommy!!

DD is a belly sleeper.
She has been sleeping on her belly since she was about 5 weeks old.
WHen she was on her back, she was miserable. She is almost 18 months, and to this day, she will roll to her belly to sleep everytime.

DS LOVES to sleep on his belly; as I have realized a lot of babies do
It helps them get back into that "fetal", curled up position
DS can lift and turn his head so I have him on the inclined sleep positioner on his tummy
I also got the movement monitor but it goes off A LOT and is rather annoying with the false alarms-

I've told you that Aidan is a stomach sleeper. It's the only way he'll sleep. I bought the Babysense V movement monitor from BBB. It was the best thing I could have done. It allows me to sleep and not worry about him.

So it seemed to work. I called my aunt who works as a pediatric doctor and she FREAKED out on me. I cant do this anymore. She told me to get zantac- now out of shear anxiety I cant do that anymore 
Im really just at a loss.

DS rolled from his back to his belly around 3 1/2 months because he wanted to sleep on his belly. You can't control it at some point. Also, while I understand it prevents against sids to have them sleep on their backs, you also need to do what is best for your child. I now put him to sleep on his belly and thats what he prefers.
ETS: most of us slept on our bellies probably too!

DD rolled to her belly at about 10 weeks and slept through the night since. She will only nap/sleep on her belly. Ped said if she can lift her head and or roll she should be fine.

DD slept on her belly from early, they sleep better and longer and especially after those night feeding it was better for me witht he spit up

I started with naps & then moved on to nighttime. It was a hard decision but the right one for my kids. No toys in the crib, no blankets & tight sheets.
It's only something you can do when you're ready.
