what?? i'm making it drama?? that's funny. i didn't post for 2 days and the other thread CONTINUED to have drama even WITHOUT me posting anything. there have been multiple posts about dogs SINCE then. yet, i am the one that starts all of the drama?? i am simply saying that i find it offensive that people are associating women with tattoos as trashy
You just said you were not offended. You were "worried" for others. Now you find it offensive.

i'm not really sure i get this right, it's ok for people to be offended by what i write but when it's a subject very close to me, i'm not allowed to be offended??

This thread doesn't offend me personally. I don't care what others think of my tattoos, I got them for me, not for anyone else. Heck, my own mother thinks they are trashy, and she's entitled to that opinion. The OP just asked a question for discussion. I like to think adults can have conversations with differing opinions, just like EVERY topic that can turn 'controversial' like religion or politics or what town you live in or what occupation you hold...
I like to hear why people think they're 'trashy' or don't like them, or whatever. I think people see the world through their own eyes so to me, tattoos are 'normal'. It's nice to see why others think the way they do. Doesn't make me or them right or wrong, just different.
I think you can pull off tattoos. I never thought you looked trashy. Yet, I see PLENTY of bodies during my day. Some tattoos don't look good on some bodies. It has nothing to do with weight or shape. It just does not look good. Then I see some women whose tattoo look so natural.

I KNOW! and i wasn't saying that i was mad at HER. i don't understand what you guys aren't seeing. i said i was offended by the thread as a WHOLE.
and i never said i wasn't offended. i am and always will be offended and i'm sure some other people might find it offensive as well.

I dont think tattoos are trashy I think trashy is a way a person carries themselves. Some tattoos can be hideous and not well done and not tasteful but to each their own.
I got my tattoo's for myself and no one else so I really don't care what other people think. If some people think I am trashy that is their problem.

I have to say that I have two tattoos one of them being a "tramp stamp"  and I don't find this thread offensive at all. People are just stating their opinions based on the question from the OP. I don't get what the big deal is????

For the record, I didn't say that I don't like tattoos, just that some people are predictable. People ask why some stereotypes about Jewish people exist, and I don't get annoyed that the discussion turned toward stereotypes unless someone points a finger and declares me to be some particular way.

the big deal is trashy is a really crude and rude word. i don't care if people don't like my tattoos (although, i dont see how they couldnt like my tattoos) it's using that word that i'm offended by. i totally know and have said in the post that people don't like tattoos and that's fine.

some people find the word "stupid" offensive and some people find the word" trashy" offensive.

ok... i like tattoo's would like to get one for my boys.... HOWEVER, i do not like tattoos on girls that show in tacky "trashy" ways. I dont like to see a woman wearing a beatiful elegant evening dress and the tattoos hanging out all over the place.

Some people have the look and personality where tattoos look beautiful and natural and expressive, and just really incredible on them. Other people simply do not.
I admit that when I see a chick with 8 kids in booty shorts and a tank top with a rose on her rack, I think shes trashy, and the tattoo does look trashy on her.
No flames for this please but I have seen girls with topless pin ups on their arms, and the girls who love the art, really show it in their personality, and the tat's look amazing on them, while another girl could have the same exact thing on her arm, but because her personality and lifestyle was different it looked kinda trashy to me.
 to all you ladies who can really pull it off

Who you are is internal. I am not my haircut, KWIM? My husband has a large C&B and if he covers it up, he is still the same guy. I've have had acrylic nails for years but I don't say that they define me and I recognize all the stereotypes about them.
