I wouldn't say trashy, but there are some tatoos I wonder if the owner REALLY wants to see that on their bodies forever....

I personally don't like the word trashy. BUT I can admit that some tattoos DO make me leap to certain judgements.
For example - if a woman has an arrow tattooed on her stomach and it points to her prize and says "Dump Load here" - I am going to kinda think she's a ho - or that she has a really weird sense of humor.
Does that mean my judgement is RIGHT? No - but it doesn't stop that from leaping into my head. And probably into other people's minds as well.
Here's how I feel. You get a tattoo - it's your business and your decision and that's fine. But if you decide to display that tattoo in a place that other people can see it, you have to almost expect that people are going to have opinions (good, bad or whatever) about it. Whether or not you care about those opinions is up to you! :)

See.. I am not a fan of the boob tattoos.. BUT.. I do have a friend of mine that has smaller boobs and inbetween them she has this amazing tat of the Virgin Mary... She hates it, I think it is just gorgeous

I personally think that everyone cannot pull off a tattoo. Just like some type of clothes.
One tattoo may look cute on someone and look "ugly" on someone else.

I thought that a tramp stamp was in the hip/pelvis area???? I thought it was b/c it draws the eye near the fun zone.
.
and i always thought the tramp stamp was when you have a tattoo that is across your lower back right at your pants line,
whatever it is i agree that people are trashy which is what makes the tattoos seem trashy not the tattoos themselves

I agree with Kevin, though, it's the person more than the tattoo.
I was thinking of you when I posted my reply.
You have tattoos and I never thought of you as "trashy". You can pull it off very nicely.

to be honest with you, i find this highly offensive this whole thread. i know you didn't start it to cause harm or offend anyone but the word trashy and associating it with tattoos is offensive. maybe it's just a poor choice of words

In her defense though she was asking why would a tattoo be trashy. Like as in she doesn't see it but why would other people see it as trashy.

said you were offended by what SHE said. Thats why I said it wasn't her saying they are trashy but she wanted to know why other people thought they were trashy.

Well~ we've established that you understand the meaning behind the OP question. People are stating opinions. You said you are not offended (ugh- that word!). DON'T worry about whether "other people" will get offended. I'm sure they can speak for themselves......

You see. If I wear a mini skirt, I will look trashy. That's sad but it's reality. So if someone asks here is some clothes make some people trashy, I will have to agree with them. If I think I can wear a miniskirt, I am in serious denial. Same with tattoo. Whether you (or anyone else) like it, everybody cannot pull off a tattoo. That's my answer on the topic.
Every topic is not gear to drama and people will be offended regardless of the topic.

what?? i'm making it drama?? that's funny. i didn't post for 2 days and the other thread CONTINUED to have drama even WITHOUT me posting anything. there have been multiple posts about dogs SINCE then. yet, i am the one that starts all of the drama?? i am simply saying that i find it offensive that people are associating women with tattoos as trashy
