don't smoke and am very vocal about smoking due to my dear grandfather's premature death due to lung cancer. i never would've dated DH if he smoked. luckily, he's never touched one

I am a smoker. I kept saying the minute i found out i was PG i would stop. BUt i have had the FLU for 3 days now. It's horrible. 103 fever on and off, coughing to the point of almost vomiting, chills, sweats, head pain. Havent had a ciggy in 3 days. So maybe i will quit sooner than i thought

Neither DH nor I have either taken a puff of a cigarette. I can't tolerate being around smoke at all.

I enjoyed smoking years ago when I worked as a bartender, back then drinks & smoking went together. It was never an addiction for me though.
I haven't touched a cig in over 10 yrs. I don't think DH ever smoked.
My dad does & I HATE IT!!!

Neither of us has ever been a smoker. They say that kids of smokers are more likely to smoke, but not in my case. My dad smoked 3 packs a day during my childhood and I was so disgusted by it that I never wanted to smoke. I think he was about 15 when he started and he quit just before he was 50. Smoking definitely aged him but he is really fortunate not to have had worse effects. He is now 68 and almost 19 years smoke free. I still feel like he just quit and pray he will not go back. That is my story about smoking.
