So...if you saw that your DH was..

looking at his ex GF's myspace page, would it bother you?

i saw that my DH was looking at it..I typed in myspace.com and it pulled up the last page that was online....

on one hand, i am SURE that if i found an ex of mine's page, i'd look at it...

but on the other hand it does kind of bother me that he was looking her up!! i guess that's human nature.

would it bug you?

It wouldn't really bug me because I have had ex's contact me through there. But with my smartass nature, I'd ask him how she's doing and watch him squirm

First, it would surprise me that he could actually figure out how to seach for things other than typing "boobs" in.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. I think I'd feel a twinge of jealousy but then I'd be over it.

I've, on a number of occasions, looked up old-boyfriends...more of a curiousity thing. He knows I have bc I mentioned how disgusted I was that this guy I dated was a listed in the top under 40 yo people in sports (the business end). He was a bit pissy until I explained that no amount of money would have been worth marrying him. Also I type in everyone's name I've ever known - kids I've babysat, etc. In general, I don't lead an exciting life - so I research everything to death.

It would bother me, but I would try not to make a big issue out of it because I would do the same.

I'm not going to make a big deal of it...I may just casually say (bc I know he is always looking at my sisters page and his neice's page to check up on them) "so whats new on myspace? you ever look up anyone?" knowing him, he may tell me he looked her up...not a big deal. But it will be fun to watch him squirm a little!

OK, I'll also add that I have actually looked up his ex's to see what they are like, but apparently they're not on myspace. But I have no shame. He knows I've done this. One was a really hairy, mustached girl whom I am DYING to see a picture of! And the other is a tool we went to high school with. Those are his two exes. THat's it. So maybe I am not so upset knowing that my competition was pretty stingey.

its definitely just human nature. i look up people all the time.. my ex's, DHs ex, teachers, people from the grocery store....


DH doesnt have a page, but when he goes on mine, it seems the names he ever searches are Porn Stars

I twouldn't bug me, Because I would do the same thing. I'm always curious what they are up to.

I'm guilty of being "nosey'.
I found my ex boyfriends brother's page.
Not that I can get any info about the ex, but, I do know they officially moved out of state.
I would never ever contact him. I was just being nosey.

If he was just looking at it, it wouldn't bother me. Everyone's curious. In fact, I'd want to look at it too.

If he contacted her I'd be upset...

I know it would bother me, and I would bring it up to his attention because if I didn't I know I would pick a fight over it. I know that if I found my ex's page heck yeah I'd be all over that page. But it's human nature I think to be nosey.

It would not bother me too much. He probably looked her up more out of curiosity than anything else.

DH only knows how to play online poker. And I had to show him how to get to those sights too. I'm not worried because I've seen all his ex's and there is nothing to worry about. He can look all he wants, because then he can't say anything when I do

I admit, I would be bothered by it and I know that DH would be bothered if it was me who was looking.

But, answering your question..YES, it would bug me if my dh did that. It's one thing to randomly come across it, but another thing to be thinking about it and looking it up. Did you tell him that it bothered you?

it wouldnt bother me either...by habit I think humans are curious. Heck, I have checked up on random people from my past too!
