Everything is bad for you. Everything.
What is even worse for you is the stress of worrying about everything that is bad for you.
It's exhausting
I agree with your sentiment. However, there are things you can prevent and this is one of them
I don't give my DD soda and she wont' drink seltzer. Hell even I have a hard time choking down seltzer. But if it comes down to coke or seltzer, I am going to go with the seltzer and take my chances. Now seltzer is bad for you... .next water will be bad for you.
Lots of water IS bad for you, actually, depending on the source. Non-filtered water can have minerals, chemicals, bacteria, etc. Bottled water isn't always regulated, and can have stuff in it, too.
Air is bad, too, since there is so much pollution everywhere.
Do what you think is best to limit how much crap your DC put in their bodies, but it's impossible to eliminate everything bad, so choose your battles.
For centuries, water was so bad for everyone that people drank mead, grog, and watered down wine instead of plain water.... even young kids.
And don't forget the plastic bottles leaching into the water. Literally everything is bad for you.
this is why I drink a lot of booze. And processed foods. The chemicals kill anything off.
"You are what you eat", so if I eat lots of preservatives, I should live forever, right?
Exactly!!
