Silly question- Did you announce your pregnancy on Facebook?
Is it necessary? I know there are people I am "friends with" on there who don't know.
Did you find it necessary to share your pregnancy???

I just did on monday (when i found out i was having a boy) I figured since i had told all of my close family and friends that it was fine and I was super excited haha. But I can't even tell you how many people that I am "friends" with on facebook (who I dont ever talk to from HS or whatever) were like "omg i didnt know you were pregnant!" It made me laugh because of course they didnt, I don't ever talk to them haha

Around the 13 week mark, I changed my status to "Vanessa is having a baby!" All of our close friends knew by that point, but I wanted to let people taht I don't speak to all the time from college and such know as well.

I haven't, and really hope my close friends don't post anything about it on my wall. That's just me, I'm not that into facebook - it was cool to get in touch with a few people, but overall, I find it a little too much.

I did bc we had a lot of family members & friends from OOT that we keep in contact there. I had a sono picture up for sometime & then changed it when we knew what we were having. Now it is a picture of DH & I from my shower

No because I waited a long time to tell my work and have many coworkers as friends.
I did, however, announce that it was a  on FB at that point everyone knew I was expecting and it was an easy way to share what we are having.
I recebtly posted my name choices on there, too
