My dad passed away many years ago (20+)

I take the LIRR every day. Today, on what would have been his 76th birthday, I saw an ad on the LIRR (that I have never seen before) for his favorite wine.

Maybe I will buy a bottle tonight!

You should!

I totally take that as a sign that he wants you to celebrate his life.

My brother is going through a really bad breakup over the past 2+ months. Having a very hard time letting a toxic person go.
I've been doing everything I can for him. Listening. Giving advice. Taking him out.
And this morning I prayed to our aunt who passed away when we were young. I never do this. But I know he does. He's talked to her before. And today I said "please help him through this. He really needs some strength and guidance. please whatever you can. just help him".

I didn't tell him I did this.

He sends me this message about an hour ago.

I just opened my soup and look:




I know this is her telling him his heart will be healed!

I called him after he sent it to me and told him that I talked to her this morning.
We both got choked up.

My mom died a year and a half ago and not that long ago 9yo DS & I were driving and I said hey look a double rainbow. The clouds behind it had these beams coming out of them and I said wow it almost looks like that is grandma shining down on us from heaven, doesn't it? So we stopped for a minute to look and then I started to drive away and absentmidedly flipped the radio station and the song we always say is a sign from her immediately started playing right from the beginning chord. DS & I just looked at each other and froze and then started crying. I know she was with us at that moment.

OP-I am glad to hear that you got what you are looking for!

I don't always get the signs that I ask for, but instead find they come when I make a conscious decision to keep my heart open to them!

I've been getting signs lately that I am not necessarily looking for. I casually mentioned to my dad that I always seem to look at the clock at 10:11. I was surprised to hear that he does too...and even more shocked when he told me that was his mother's birthday. This grandmother passed away many years before I was born.

The conversation got even better when I told him I keep finding dimes in the most random of places...on the seat of my car, in the middle of my driveway shining in the sun, on the table at the diner, in bottom of a grocery bag, in the middle of the hallway at school. He told me that his mom would give him and his brothers dimes as special treats. I now love finding them. I say hi grandma when I do.
