Shower Question ( as in, taking a shower )
If this belongs on Home, many apologies.
After everyone in your household is done taking a shower/using the bathroom, do you remove all toiletries?
I was in a friend's house and I HAD to ask because their entire shower is EMPTY and they have a large vanity, the top is always clear except for one container of hand soap. She said that after she showers she removes everything and puts it all into the cabinets because it looks cleaner. Another friend said she does the same thing and even has a little mesh bag with all of her toiletries in it like someone would use in a dorm shower.
My mother is literally PSYCHOTIC when it comes to cleaning and even she doesn't do this so I was wondering if anyone else does?

Re: Shower Question ( as in, taking a shower )
no,
at my house, I keep my lotions (face, body) in my room and take them to and fro upon showering, but I leave the shampoo and soap in the shower.

Re: Shower Question ( as in, taking a shower )
Nope.
DH would probably love if I did though since he can't stand 'all' the shampoo bottles I have in there.

Re: Shower Question ( as in, taking a shower )
Definitely not. We have several different shampoos, conditioners, etc. It's just not worth the time and effort moving all those bottles every time.

Re: Shower Question ( as in, taking a shower )
No, we have a ton of stuff in the bathroom. We even added stereo speakers in there so we can plug our iPods in while taking a shower.

Re: Shower Question ( as in, taking a shower )
No. I leave shampoo, conditioner, soap in the shower. Whatever I use everyday in the shower stays there. I am too lazy to keep moving them...haha Plus I have never really heard of that. Even when I stay at a hotel I bring my own shampoo and everything and I leave it in shower there as well.

Re: Shower Question ( as in, taking a shower )
No-I had never heard of that until someone here posted that recently. ( I forget what the topic was.)
No one sees them withteh shower curtain closed, so it doesn't bother me.
I try not to keep things out on the vanity though (except for 1 soap dispenser), but that doesn't always happen on an everyday basis. I will put it all away before people come over though.

Re: Shower Question ( as in, taking a shower )
oh God no. It all stays in the shower and I pull the shower curtain closed, then you can't see it.
On the counter of the sink is the handsoap and toothbrush holder, that's it.

Re: Shower Question ( as in, taking a shower )
What, that is too much effort. I prefer to leave my 80 bottles of shampoo and conditioner in the shower. My guest bathroom is hardly ever uses so its clutter free.

LOL thanks for the graphic!
Okay I thought I was nuts! They have two large built in shelves in the shower and an opaque shower curtain they can close but they leave open
I have to admit I hate when it gets cluttered in there so I make sure that I only have ONE shampoo bottle, ONE body wash etc.

I do not have time to put away and take out toiletries for the shower. So, no, I definitely don't do this... and I'm clean freak.

Re: Shower Question ( as in, taking a shower )
That's just a bit over the top! who has time to do all that? And who cares if your guests see your shampoo bottles? oh no, they'll know you wash your hair!!!
To me a bathroom is meant to be used.. not looked at

OMG, no way...I would never be able to do that. I leave myself EXACTLY enough time in the morning to shower...I'm not carting the stuff back and forth

Re: Shower Question ( as in, taking a shower )
Yes and No
I leave one bottle of shamppo and one bottle of conditioner in there.
Face wash, body wash and anything else I may need I store back under the sink in a basket.
I just don't like clutter in the shower.
We're re-doing our bathroom soon - and DH wants to add shelves in the shower area for all this stuff....not sure I like this idea

Re: Shower Question ( as in, taking a shower )
No, we leave everything in the shower that you would need. I don't see the point of taking everything out & then putting it back when it is time to shower.

Re: Shower Question ( as in, taking a shower )
I leave shampoo/conditioner and soap in the shower. I always put away my razor and shaving cream after I use it. And I don't leave anything out on the counter. MIL used to have everything out on the counter and it drove me nuts.

Re: Shower Question ( as in, taking a shower )
No. I keep my face creams in the medicine cabinet and my body lotion in my bedroom. All my shampoos and stuff stay on the nice rack in the shower where they belong. You don't know how many times I would forget to grab something like shave gel or my poof if it wasn't in the shower.
