Re: Room temperature

At night we keep our house at 62 and during the day it's 64. We just always layered DD and then when she got a little older we gave her blankets. She's always been comfortable. DH and I hate a too warm house.

It is around 62 in their rooms even though the heat is set to 60 at night.

Our ped said whatever you are comfortable with , you LO will be comfy with. And to dress them with 1 more layer than you would wear. I guess there is no right answer. Chat Icon

Re: Room temperature

our general heat is set to 62 at night, but we have a space heater in their room that keeps it at 65. The thermostat is in our room and their room can get cold.

Re: Room temperature

We keep her room between 65-68. I've had her room on at 70 before and with the humidifier on in there, it felt like a sauna. Never again!

Our thermostat is set at 67 at night but DD's room is always colder than our, more like 65. If it's gonna be really cold at night, then I'll turn on her heater and set it to 68.

We have the egg Click Me

Its ok... we live in an apt with some serious heat.. and heat pockets. SO the egg gives a reading sometimes that is not 100% accurate.

DS room and the whole apt is on the warm side sometimes like 70ish... Chat Icon

Re: Room temperature

Day 67
Night 65

Usually only drops to 66

I also keep a cool mist humidifier going. They are always toasty and swaddled but not too hot
