Question about OPK lines
When I was trying last time to get pregnant, I used the OPK with the smiley face so I always knew when I got my surge. This time around I got the ones with the lines and now I'm confused.
I took a OPK test yesterday and again this moring. The control line is completely one solid color, but not for the test line. Yesterday's test line was half dark/half light (the dark being the same color as the control line) and this morning's (the test I used said to use FMU) was the same, but a little more solid.
Does this mean I got my surge or do I have to wait for the ENTIRE line to be solid?

Re: Question about OPK lines
The test line has to be completely as dark or darker than then control line. Im not sure what you mean that half is dark and half is light...but it could just mean you are approaching your surge. once the entire line is just as dark it means you are about to O.

I would invest in a new box of OPKs if the line isnt full there might be something wrong with those... or i would just go back to the digitals

Re: Question about OPK lines
I had this SAME problem last month!! I believe you need to wait for the whole line to get darker-- but too be honest I found the whole line thing very much up for interpretation so I'm switching to the digitals this month

Re: Question about OPK lines
See I thought it was the opposite. I remember reading somewhere that you should compare the darkest part of the lines. I'm not sure if that was the directions from a test of on the boards somewhere.
