EWCM question (and OPK question)
Anyone using EWCM as a guide? Are you fertile before/during/after EWCM is present? Is tracking EWCM alone enough??

you are most fertile during EWCM and a day or two after it stops. They say that the last day you see EWCM is the day you ovulate or are about to ovulate.
To be honest with you, it's not the best way to know if you O, the only real way to know is to temp, use OPKs, track CM etc. ...with that said, I got 2 BFPs by counting days and tracking my cervical mucous, I'm not saying this can work for everyone but I had pretty regular cycles and it seemed to work for me.

I wouldn't rely just on CM as a guide. It is def helpful, but I've gotten crazy CM at all different times in my cycle so it can def throw you off. If you use it in combo with temping or using OPK's I think it would be a safer guide then. KWIM?

I used CM and OPK's. The CM let me know when I was sort of heading towards O, and then the positive OPK let me know I was going to ovulate imminently.

Tell me about OPKs -- I went online and saw CBE OPK for almost $40 for 7 tests -- is that right? Don't you have to use it every day? do they sell in bulk?

I got the 7 pack at Target for $25. Less expensive than it is at some of the other stores.
