Post Partum Period
Hi! I had my DS on 8/6. Long story short AF is nowhere to be found just some light spotting! I called my doc and they said it i normal but to take a PG test just in case. Of course I took one and it was negative. (there is no way I could be PG but I took one anyway) I am just wondering how long it took to get AF after you had a baby? I am not BF.

I had dd on 6/28 and literally just got my period back this morning. Took 3 months. Also depends if you're nursing or not too.

All my other kids I got AF after 5 weeks, this baby, 3 months (not nursing).

i got it @ 4 mo and I totally was not prepared for it. It was so heavy that I called the OB to see if it was normal which they said it was and should get lighter as the months go by.

I am nursing but got at 3mos pp. it was a regular period and still is since then. I will say my cramps have always been pretty bad and they're been a lot less painful since dd.

With my other DD I was 11weeks. I am hoping it comes before I go back to work at 12 weeks. That first period after childbirth for me has always been like a homicide scene and I don't want that at work.
