Poop and ebf babies
My dd hasn't pooped since Thursday. She was pooping several times a day but all of a sudden she hasn't pooped! She is 10 weeks old and is also having really smelly gas too. She isnt in any pain and her belly is soft. She's a very happy baby....but I'm getting nervous.
I've read on the lll forums that it's normal and some bf babies can go 10 days without pooping! That sounds like forever!
Does anyone have experience with this and can reassured that it is actually normal?

totally normal. DD went 9 days once and them she ruined 3 outfits in a row! I know its hard to wait it out. I also found that when I wasn't eating a well balanced diet, her diapers were off. So make sure you are eating veggies and drinking enough water too.

Re: Poop and ebf babies
areround 8-9 weeks old - my son started pooping only once a week - he wuld get a little gassy close to the 7 day mark but was happy - ped said it was fine and a nice benefit of ebf - bm is extrmely effiecient - therefore less waste, i.e. poop
but watch out when they do poop it is big - thank good ness for the thirsties cover (cloth) we never had a blow out

Ds always went a really long time between poops. And omg watch out. It would be up the back, the front and all over him. Sometimes I would have to cut him out of his onsie lol
