Has anyone gotten a BFP on one brand, but a BFN on another brand when testing on the same day?

No. I tried three different brands on the same day and all were BFP at 10DPO

But it definitely can happen though because each may measure a differnet levels of HCG

No, but as PP said, different brands test for diferent levels of hcg. So if you are testing early, a more sensitive test may show positive while a less sensitive shows negative.
Yet another reason to wait until AF is late. I know easier said than done!

I would say it is definitely positive for two reasons:

1. As previous poster stated, tests measure different levels of HCG.

2. Your urine may have been less concentrated at one point. (IE If one test was first morning urine, second wasn't....or if you had gone more hours without peeing with one...kwim?)

Yes I did!!!! When I was pg in October I got a BFP and BFN It was annoying but if you got one BFP you are pg!

this happened to me! i got a BFP at 10DPO with fact plus and FRER. i tested negative on HPTs from the dollar tree and also early-pregnancy-tests.com until a few days later.

If you got a BFP w/ one brand than that's what counts!! False positives are rare!!

The first day that I got a BFP the first response said yes, the digital said no. Then I tried the digital again that night and it said yes.

Ok ok... I was out all day and away from a computer.

On 10 DPO I did get a BFP on a blue dye "+" or "-" test-- which I have been reading up on, and can give a false positive. I took that one first (it was the only one I had)-- and then I immediately took a digital and it was neg. Then I took two more-- and they were both neg. 4 different brands, but I think all detect the same level of HCG. ETA-- I peed in a cup, so it was all the same urine.

I took another test this morning and negative.

I have been spotting very dark brown since Friday evening. I have read that implantation bleeding can last for several days and women can confuse it with their periods. Well, the spotting really concerns me if it is my period-- cause it means my cycles are officially really f*cked up.

My boobs are still pretty sore, which last cycle stopped before I even started my period (which starts off as spotting and goes from lighter to heavier flow). Last night when I rolled on my stomach, my boobs would literally hurt. They are not as bad as they were last night though. I also have some little cramps that come and go.. but nothing major.

I can deal if this is not my month. I hate that false positives are rare, and I probably got one-- which is SO my luck. And, I am worried that I have some LP problems. I'll see how this week pans out, since I am only 11 DPO, but I will call my doc next week and try to get this sorted out.

Okay so the same thing happened to me. I took two FRER on a Friday afternoon and got faint lines.. took a digital and it was neg. Then the next day I took at FRER and it was negative... so I got a blue line one and it was positive. The next day I got a positive digital....

It was a crazy few days but I was pg. It ended soon after in a m/c but you are still early and most likely the first one was REALLY sensitive and the others aren't picking it up. Also I got better results NOT using FMU..
