Fever broke, heart rate normal. Back to status quo! They're continuing to slowly wean her off the vents. She's such a fighter!
THANK GOD! I don't come on to lif much anymore but saw your original post and my heart ached for you and your baby girl! I'm so happy to hear that she is doing better!!

Update on Lila: She had a good night. Early this morning, she started bleeding from her central line which was in her neck. Her coughing fit kind of aggravated it. They decided they didn't need it anymore since she no longer needs iv fluids or meds. She still has iv access points just in case. It's one less thing in her and it removes an infection risk. They also removed her catheter since she's peeing like a champ and they don't need to really measure it anymore. It also removes another source of infection. She got a sponge bath this morning and made a trip to the scale to be weighed. It was a pretty eventful morning but all in a good way. Plan for the day is to continue to try to wean her off the vent slowly. She may have developed bacterial pneumonia so they're treating her for that or possibly another infection, just in case.

Omg my,hear,breaks for you. Sending you all lots of prayers. I am in the exact same boat. My 3 week old (as of yesterday) was rushed to the er Tuesday morning she was turning grey and hardly breathing. We are in ICU and she is still sedated and on the vent. They hope they can start to ween tomorrow but aren't sure
