OK I did the one thing I never thought I'd do...
I parked in that "Expectant Mothers " parking spot at Kohls. Did I need to? No. But I qualified so I went for it. I figured I was questioned by the parking police, I'd whip out sonogram pictures because the bellly is not all that obvious to those who don't know me. Shoot I earned that parking spot!!!

Ohh I scored one of those babies a few weeks ago at a CVS. I was so proud, I whipped out my camera phone and sent a pic to my girlfriend who was convinced such luxuries didn't exist..

They used to have them at Pathmark for mothers who are expecting or with toddlers and other people parked there all the time so they took the signs down b/c of the problems . I never noticed them at kohls i will have to check that out cause I will park there no problem LOL

Whenever there is expectant mother parking, I park there,its my right as a prego, and I need to take advantage of it.

There was a spot no more than 2 spots away that wasn't marked. I said EFF IT and took what was rightfully mine.

I park in the expectant mother spots whenever they are open. I get so annoyed though when people park in the spot that are obviously not pregnant-like men or older women. I earned that spot dammit and I will use it.

I know that I easily COULD have walked an extra 5-10 feet and used a regular spot - saving the spot for another mother who is much further along or who probably needed it more. Maybe thats whats bugging me about what I did. Though I did feel much like a good old fashioned bag lady today.

They have them at the massapequa mall and so far every time i've gone there they are in use... while before I was pregnant they were empty all the time.
Hell if they are still empty after baby comes and I still look pregnant I might take just one shot at it, just want to use it once!

Ha! I totally used one when I was like 12 weeks- at the post office after it was closed and I felt guilty.
Now I almost feel like I have a right to handicapped spots- walking is so difficult.

At King Kullen they have spots designated for "Mothers with children" I park in them all the time. So I may not have a child that holds my hand, but I have one that s u cks the life out of me, doesn't that mean I qualify?
