This is so true. Yes, your wedding day will be one of the most important days of your life, but it's about starting a life with your FH, and if you are ready to do that, you should. We worry so much about pleasing everyone else on that day, but really, the two most important people to worry about pleasing are you and your FH. If you're ready to start a life with him, then you should.
JMO, of course.

I wouldn't postpone at all...that's probably exactly what your sister is looking for...I would move forward with the wedding and let the chips fall where they may.
Your parents will probably be happy to have the stability of your wedding right now.

i agree with the other posts; how would cancelling help the situation? i would talk to your parents but go ahead with it. i think having something good to look forward to would be best for everyone. plus, at this point you will probably lose the downpayment for the hall and any other monies, so that may be a consideration...

Oh sweetie please don't do that...I understand that you want to be there for them but this is your life now...you are starting a new life with your FH and I think such a happy occassion may actually cheer them up and help them realize what a great daughter they raised despite of what is going on with their other daughter. Thats part of growing up, actually leading your own life and doing what is right for you...I just hope you make the right decision and what is right for YOU!
