Now that you're a Mom, do you think it's weird to wear a bikini?
I know this may be a weird ???, but before kids i always wore a bikini to the beach (not a revealing one or thong or anything, just a regular 2 piece bathing suit)
The other day I was shopping for a bathing suit, and i just felt that it isnt appropriate any longer,,, not because of a body image issue(thankfully i lost most of my baby weight)
but more like now Im going to be at our beach club pool and Im with my children and there are all families there and i dont want to look innapropriate.
I was looking for tankinis but they all seemed so frumpy. ANy thoughts/suggestions???

definitely not, just because you are mom it doesn't mean that you can't look and feel sexy.
if you feel comfortable, go for it.

You can still be a sexy mom if you are comfy.
I've always been a bikini gal and when i get my body back and my tummy flat, i'm back in them. The tummy flat is the key part, if there's any flab, i am wearing tankini's.
I wouldn't be wearing a suit that just covers my nips and barely my butt, but I wouldn't wear that pre mommy anyways.

I don't think becoming a mom means you have to dress more conservatively. If you are comfortable, go for it> I certainly plan on it and put my belly ring back in to motivate me to look good doing it!!!

Absolutley not... I don't think it has anything to do with being a mom but how comfortable a person is wearing one.

No way!!!!! If you can pull it off go for it. I've already sported mine (whether or not I pulled it off is debatable ) but I felt comfy in it and that's all that mattered. I look far worse in a one piece - tankini maybe but one pieces on me  .

I'm taking Jackson to a swimming class this Saturday and I'm wearing a bikini. It's all I own! I hadn't even thought that it might be inappropriate. It's not like it's a thong or anything!
They do have bikinis that offer a little more coverage though - you don't have to get a triangle top or something with super tiny bottoms.

It's so funny you posted this because I was thinking the same thing. I was also thinking of getting a tankini myself but then thought to myself I might as well keep wearing bikinis while I can still look nice in them.

I wish I could wear a bikini. I think I was in junior high the last time I could but no I don't think it's weird. All my friends wear them and I think it's great that they still look so good after having kids.

ITA - I dressed in cool and sexy clothes before I became a mom - having a baby doesnt change anything (I DO need to lose the pregnancy weight before I squeeze myself into anyhting though - so now I'm wearing my baggy fat clothes!!)
Once I get myself back in shape, I will totally dress the way I did before!!!
