Nilla wafers bring back childhood memories
while food shopping I cam across Nilla wafers, if they were not on sale I would not have treated myself. But could not resist. One of my favorite cookie as a child, and nothing beat Nilla wafers and a glass of cold milk, mmmmm

I always think of the time I was in first grade and home sick from school with a migraine. Just the sight of these on the coffee table made me want to vomit!!

i LOVE the S cookies.
i usually don't go down the cookie aisle at the supermarket, but when i do... i make sure to buy a pack of those. i can eat the whole thing in one sitting... with a cup of hot chocolate or coffee... mmm
make me feel like a kid again

All of the Stella D'Oro cookies. My grandma had them all the time at her house. She also had the blue cookies in the tin. At my house We always had Lipton noodle soup, but the noodles were heart, stars, and moon shaped. As a kid, I was obsessed. I was so sad when they discontinued it.

my grandma always bought pepperidgefarm cookies when on sale (mint) by the time I stayed over they were stale. Yuck, I still ate them because it made her happy and I never complained. When I see those cookies today, i'll never buy but it brings back memories of her :)

Chocolate eggs with a surprise toy inside. They're made by the same company that makes Nutella. I used to eat them almost every day in Italy when I was a kid. They're banned in the states though.

ETA: I always got excited seeing the blue tin, but it was never cookies inside. Only sewing stuff.  Those pretzel shaped cookies with the sugar... YUM.

OMG my mom /grandma used it for their sewing supplies too! lol Theyd always ask me to get the' "sewing kit" it would get confusing to pick the right one bc we had tins with the cookies in them too =)
Childhood memories... Stella Dora S cookies, Little Debbie Brownies, (after school snacks). The Hawaian Punch/Hi C cans they used to punch holes in to pour out to give out at snack time in school ! Entenmans cakes-- my mom would buy them at the entenmans outlet in queens and put them away to have "for when company came". The old gallons of ice cream in plastic containers-- napolean and sherbet were the big flavors back then in my house. Sloppy Joes and potato and egg my grandma made for us.
