My update!***** So I had a long day yesterday
When I went to the bathroom yesterday morning I noticed some blood. I wiped 3 times and it was gone, it was pinkish. So I freakedout because it was totally unexpected. I called the doctor and he told me everything was probably fine but to go down to the ER to get checked out.
They did a pelvic exam (pretty much like a PAP) and she said there was no pooling of blood at the outside of the cervix which is good and the cervix was still closed. But everytime she told me to cough i would bleed so she was concerned.
So now I am like sooooo nervous. It takes them forever to finally do a sono and there was my little peanut! Perfectly fine, heart beating and all. so i was really relieved.
I have to rest until I can follow up with my doctor tomorrow. They said anytime you bleed during pregnancy , there is always a threat for a miscarriage. But I havent bled since yesterday morning so I am pretty confident that everything is ok.
UPDATE****
went to my obgyn today and he said things couldnt look any better! yay! So I am 8w4d. He said the heartbeat is very strong and the baby is moving around so everything looks great.
I am very happy! Now if this morning (all day) sickness could just go away..........

Try not to worry. I had bleeding (spotting) from like 7 weeks to 9 weeks. It was scary but the Dr. told me it was okay as long as there is no cramping. Hope all is well. Keep us posted!!!

I know what you are going through is scary!!!
I had bleeding like that very early one (only once). I had to rest until going to the DR. I had a hematoma and was watched closely for it to dissolve.
Here I am now 30+ weeks and all is ok!!!
Try to relax and think positive until you see you OB!

good! There hasnt been any blood/spotting since Sat morning. I took the day off to go see the doctor but he told me since the sono on sat was fine there is no need for me to come in. So I am just going to relax today and go back to work tomorrow.

that happened to me too, and everything was fine. Not to be gross but i only had a smear of blood, i was wasn't really bleeding.

I'm glad you are doing better! You can have implantation bleeding into week 9, so that could be the cause.
