I had a fun day yesterday!
I went for pedicures with my SIL (the one in NJ) and then we went to Woodbury Commons & Linens N' Things.
Don't laugh, but I needed to get vinyl sheets at Linens N' Things because I am afraid I would ruin my Tempurpedic mattress. So I had to go ask this saleswoman if they sold them in a Queen size and she started laughing. When I told her it was for my water breaking she said to me "you did not think I thought you wet the bed at your age, you are obviously pregnant, lots of pregnant women come in for these". Well SIL looked at me and we started laughing. We kept making jokes about me and my vinyl sheets! 
Considering only 1/3 of women break their own water, and I am asleep 1/3 of a 24 hour period, I have an 11% chance of having it happen in bed. I also believe that (Murphy's Law) if I did not put these sheets on the bed, I would end up breaking my water on my mattress.
I just had to share another joy of pregnancy!

They were Ok to sleep on. I just got very hot so i had to use a quilt instead of my comforter.

my water broke while i was taking a nap in bedand it felt like i wet myself it wasnt a gush if you wear a pad closer to your due date you should be fine.

You know, I didn't even know they made vinyl sheets 
The first time I was PG, I put plastic garbage bags under my egg crate, which is under my sheets. I figured we could buy another egg crate and the bags would protect the mattress. Werll, one night I had insomnia and went to watch TV on the couch and my water broke there! So much for having the bed ready!
This time I did the same thing again, so we'll see!
