Big day yesterday - Day Care...CHECK! Diaper Bag...CHECK!
Took my last vacation day of the year yesterday for DH and I to check out day care. We have settled on and reserved Tutor Time (the Bayside location). I have done very well with keeping emotions in check this pregnancy but I burst into tears the second I walked in the place and was a bumbling mess the whole time we were there  Even through that, though, I could see what a great and well-organized place it was and how the children there were well-developed and seemingly ahead of some peers. So, that's set, we're on for July 1.
On a more fun, though not much less expensive  , note I got my diaper bag yesterday! I had a 20% coupon for buy buy baby who carries the Stork Sak bags. I was between 2 (the Gigi and the Amelia) and luckily BBB only had the Gigi in stock so the decision was out of my hands. Got it in black 
ETA: Oh jeez!! I just looked at my ticker and apparently hit another milestone yesterday... I'm in my 8th month

Yay! Way to go! You're way ahead of me. I need to still find a pediatrician, figure out the daycare v. nanny situation and I need to get a diaper bag at some point. You are ahead of the game!

Only in the diaper bag and day care respects... I have no info at all on a pediatrician (I actually figured I'd bring it up to either Klein at my 32w next week or Rifkin at my 34w, I think I'm just going to at least start with whoever they recommend). And the baby's room is still full of our crap, has no radiator cover, no furniture, isn't painted... You get the picture

Well that's something! I never thought to ask the dr.'s about Peds. It makes sense. I'll have to ask too. I'm seeing Rivkin for my 32 week next Wed.! Can't wait for the sono!!

Me either!! Since we weren't finding out the sex I'm actually more excited for this one that I was for my Level II. And I'm jealous you have Rifkin - I  him!
ETS: I only know to ask them b/c they offered names to my BFF but she's in Forest Hills and wanted someone closer. I think it was around this time that they talked to her about it.

Good for you!!
I just met with a pediatrician yesterday for the first time so don't worry about not having that done yet.
Tutor Time was the only place I visited that DIDN'T make me cry - but if you saw the place I went to first you'd understand why.
And at this rate, I don't think I'm EVER going to get a diaper bag.
How do you get one of those BBB coupons anyway?
