Major Update on me-gonna have a new due date-**WITH ANOTHER UPDATE**
Had a sonogram at NSUH today to look at my placenta...
Well the BEST news is that DS is super healthy and as close to perfect as can be 
He's weighing in at 6lb 1oz (at 35w 3d) which is in the 52nd percentile.
He put on a total show for us and was wiggling, rolling, moving, and he FINALLY let us see his face!! It was such a thrill.
My placenta on the other hand, is not so good........
I still have placenta previa, they did a regular sono, and then an internal. The doctor who examined me at the hospital (where I got the sono) said there is no way of delivering naturally.
I'm waiting for my OB to go over the sono results, but we'll be talking Monday and picking a new eviction date-most likely at 39 weeks pregnant.
DH and I are totally fine with it, we've been preparing ourselves for this since we found out about the previa anyway.
How crazy!!!!! We're going to KNOW the due date ahead of time. Kinda weird, kinda awesome.
UPDATE: So I just heard back from my OB who has insisted my last day of work be tomorrow  I am officially on bedrest as of Monday.....he said with how low the placenta is and how big  is that I may be delivering even sooner than anticipated. I am really upset-I didn't want to go on disability and lose time with the baby-hopefully this will work itself out. I'm 36 weeks Sunday.
My OB is calling me tomorrow to let me know when we're going to schedule the C-section.
Please don't mention on facebook yet.
Prayers I can deliver this little guy as early as possible so I get time with him.

Wow Jen - that's big news! You seem to have a really good attitude about it and you get to see you LO so soon. And now at least he will never have to share his birthday w/ Valentines' day (though that would have been neat too)
Glad you got to see your son and he is doing so well! And glad that you will come out of this safe and healthy and not have to go through anything risky for either of you! Most important is he will be in your arms SOOOOOOOOOOO soon!

Wow, that is some news. I can't believe he's going to be here soon!
Whatever it takes to get him out safely for the two of you is always best. I'm so happy that he's doing great. It's so crazy you have a date!!!

That's exciting news! He'll be here before you know it. I am sure I'll be in the same boat when i go for my next ultrasound. I kinda like knowing ahead of time, and can prepare!!

Well at least you know what lies ahead and can plan. It is weird though picking the day your baby will be born. We scheduled our c-section and it is just the weirdest feeling, picking the day your kid will be born.

The doctor didn't put you on bed rest since your placenta issue didn't resolve, did he?

I just saw the update. Keep us all posted!! 
Could he be a January baby? Just think, he could be in your arms this month. That is really exciting. As long as he is healthy, he's almost to term.
The bed rest isn't for that long. Can your DH take off to help you?

Hopefully your OB can schedule your C-Section as soon as possible (while still being full term)!

Oh I'm sorry to hear that. . will send TONS of prayers you way for an early AND safe delivery. Hope you get as much time home with your LO as possible. NOW maybe DH will give you those adjustments. . know you are doing a c-section but one contraction and you probably get to go right in for delivery and even if it was tomorrow your LO will be fine by now!!

OMG Jen!!!! I'm so sorry about you having to go on bed rest and maternity leave early but your DS will be here soon! Maybe they will deliver him after 37 weeks? That way its really only one week w/o him?

I am sorry to hear you have to stop working and go on bedrest! I know it stinks to "waste" your time off with your little man....but you are doing this to ensure a perfect LO and that you remain healthy. That is all that matters...everything else will work it self out.
Keep us posted on when your OB gives you a date!!!
