Lotion for newborns?
I forget - can I use lotion on newborns? DS's skin is so dry and all we've used for bath is some warm water and a drop of infant body wash. Is Aveeno baby fine or Aquafor?

Lotion for newborns?
I was told by dd pediatrician that newborns have dry skin and to leave it alone- I did and it resolved within a few weeks by itself. I also switched to a mild baby wash.

We always used California Baby super sensitive everyday lotion on our babies.

We started using an all natural lotion at about 1 month, aquaphor around 4 months.

We've been using California Baby for overall body lotion and Aquafor for face, under neck, behind ears, etc.

we did this
i also never put the california baby head to toe wash into the water...always onto the washcloth. i think if they sit in the soapy water it dries them out faster.

I highly recommend giving a baby massage with coconut or almond oil. Helps relax baby, plus keeps the skin moisturized.

Grapeseed oil. It's moisturing, only 1 ingredient and extremely unlikely to cause an allergic reaction. Also use a humidifier in the room.

Lotion for newborns?
Cerave is amazing. My DD had bad eczema as a NB and it worked wonders. It was recomended by a ped dermatologist .
