So what kind do you plan to use/or currently use, why and where do you get them?

Re: let's talk diapers

we used swaddlers with Jack until size 3 and then we went to cruisers (both pampers)

we tried luvs and huggies but didn't like either. i felt like huggies has an odd smell when wet and luvs leaked for us.

same thing with this baby. i wait for good deals on smaller sizes (since BJs doesnt seem to carry really small sized pampers?) but I get Jack's at BJs.

ive heard great things about Target brand but never tried them.

let's talk diapers

DD is only 4 weeks old but so far I prefer pampers over huggies. I feel like pampers have more coverage.

i saw newborn swaddlers in BJ's a few weeks ago...I was pricing them out compared to amazon mom and diapers.com.
I think I am gonna get them through amazon mom.

We use Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive with DD. Occasionally we buy the Cruisers if we run out and the store doesn't have the ones we usually get. I like the sensitive much more than the regular - they feel much more comfortable to me.

We buy on Amazon. Got a year of Prime free when she was born and now we pay for Prime. I did the math and Prime pays for itself with the savings you get on the diapers and wipes. They are the cheapest that I have found.

I will say Prime isn't as good as it used to be, and we still wind up having to buy at the store sometimes because your subscribe and save items might not ship for weeks after you order them.

crashing- i also really like pampers swaddlers. i get the big boxes from bj's and occasionally they have coupons. once DS grows out of swaddlers i'll be moving him to cruisers.

Re: let's talk diapers

I was a pampers snob for about 3 years, then they changed the diaper which caused my DS to leak out of every single diaper we put on him. The diaper held nothing in. I know there was an uproar about a year ago about them changing them, some children got rashes from the diapers as well.

So, we switched to Target brand. Best diaper ever IMO. Holds everything in and is 2/3 the cost-just a great diaper.

We still use pampers wipes though, they work the best for us.

Re: let's talk diapers

I used Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive with my DS until he maxed out on size (they go to 4 I think) then we moved to Pampers Cruisers. For nighttime we used Huggies Overnights. Leakage was never really a problem with either so I plan to do the same for this next baby.

ETA: Got our diapers on Amazon. Can't beat the convenience and the price was great.

Re: let's talk diapers

For DD, we used Pampers Swadders Sensitive (NB, Size 1 and 2). Actually when she first grows into a new size, we use Huggies Pure and Natural. Then when those are too tight, we switch to the Pampers (for Size 3 we use Cruisers or Baby Dry). The Huggies seem to run smaller. At night we use Huggies Overnights. I tried Target becasue everyone raves about it, and I was just not a fan.

Loved swaddlers. I registered for huggies, got 5 big boxes of them and had to return them all because he leaked every single time! But I have heard people say the opposite is true so I guess it really depends on the baby!

it will really depend on you and your baby.
we like pampers a lot, but they are WAY too expensive for us with twins. We used them when they were in Premie and NB sizes.
We use luvz. we get them from BJ's

Re: let's talk diapers

It definitely depends, it is trial and error...

We started out with Pampers Swaddlers, then tried Huggies and they leaked for my DS, went to Luvs and they were cheaper and worked fine (used Huggies Overnights though).

When he was a little older, walking etc we alternated between Huggies and Luvs, whatever we found at the best price.

Re: let's talk diapers

Agree with previous posters that it really will depend on your baby. First we used pamper swaddlers I think which had the mesh. It stuck and was almost burning DS. He had such a nasty rash. We switched to huggies and had no issues. Then for price reasons we did amazon mom and switched to luvs and have had no issues with them. I use subscribe and save and am always a few boxes ahead and it's so convenient having them delivered to the house every month. About two months ago we started using overnight diapers and used cvs brand or huggies based on where I am shopping.

Re: let's talk diapers

I'm a pampers snob. I just really liked them and with both boys barely had any leaks. I just stick with what works so that's why I continue to use them.

I did try luvs before and didn't like them because of leaks.

Pampers and Target brand. Target seemed to run a bit bigger so if DS was out of size 2 in pampers he could still fit in 2 at Target.

Both held up great....pampers just is a bit more cushy.

Re: let's talk diapers

Used pampers swaddlers with both of my girls love them will be using them again then I switched to pampers baby dry when they were older ....only time I didn't buy the baby dry was if I had a coupon for something else....I've used luvs = lots of leaks and I've used Huggies and they are pretty good but overall I stuck with the pampers baby dry but my favorite wipes are the Huggies natural car wipes hate the pampers baby wipes line....always bought the big box at bjs with coupons and sometimes babiesrus with coupons

We've tried Pampers, Huggies and Target brand but ultimately use Kirkland (Costco) brand. I liked the Pampers (only tried swaddlers) but for the $, Kirkland has worked just as well for us. I can't see paying the difference.

Re: let's talk diapers

For DS #1 I tried basically EVERY diaper on the market, because it seemed like everything would give him a rash. Once he was 1 I was able to use pampers cruisers no problems at all. For DS#2 it was all about whats on sale! lol He had no skin issues and basically anything I put on him was fine. All of the diapers brands I tried I was happy with. The one I least liked was Luvs because the gel inside got all goopy and these jelly beads were all over.
I say try a pack of each and see which one works best for you!
