Re: KKK having a parade for TRUMP
What does being Jewish have to do with you being scared that this piece of trash group is celebrating Trumps victory?
Should I be scared that these whiny protesters are having a hissy fit because they didn't receive their participation trophy?

Really? Because Trump has been elected, hate groups of all kinds (and hateful individuals as well) feel empowered. I am NOT saying that if you supported Trump you are a part of a hate group. I AM saying that at least part of the message he sent out made certain groups/people feel that they can come out from behind whatever they were hiding behind and freely spew their messages of hate. Anyone who is not a white Christian male is a potential target of this new feeling of power

Thats really your best answer? Your fainting? Out of what? laughter? Disbelief of what I said?
Just because the KKK supports Trump for their own personal agenda whatever that is, does NOT mean Trump supporters support them.
Are ALL Hillary supporters a reflection of the trash destroying our cities right now? Would you want to be put in the same category as those animals?

Re: KKK having a parade for TRUMP
For the uninformed:
The Ku Klux Klan, with its long history of violence, is the most infamous — and oldest — of American hate groups. Although black Americans have typically been the Klan's primary target, it also has attacked Jews, immigrants, gays and lesbians and, until recently, Catholics.

Of course they have - but NOW they feel more empowered to come out from behind the shadows and be in the mainstream. Can you really not understand that?

Because in many respects, Trumps rise to power echoes Hitlers. It scares people. I happen to really enjoy history, and my grandfather was jewish so this is one subject that has always stuck with me over the years.
I have thought about this A LOT. I see all of the similarities more than I can even express to you. They stand out way above everything else to me.
I'm starting to think about the things that are different, and I'm thinking about x, y, z reasons we will not turn out the same. That takes time and effort.
But for the love of all things holy, please try to understand that people who have been discriminated against for who they are have a right to be very afraid right now. I'm sure in a year's time we will be very happy to say we overracted. Today, just a few days after the election, please show those of us who have been on the receiving end of hate because of our race, religion, skin color a little compassion. That's all I am asking from anyone. If you haven't been hated because of something silly like your name, your religion, your skin color, told you don't belong, you may not be able to feel it as deeply as some of us do.
We will likely all calm down soon enough when it all comes to naught. But please try to understand where this comes from and how many of us can't just shrug it off here on day 3.

Those are not PRO Hillary supporters, they are ANTI trump, what he has stood for to date and his policies that are about to come.
Your job now is not to defend Trump but tell the various groups of people that are afraid that you stand WITH them. Dont you get it?
Unfortunately Trump supporters (those that dont hate certain groups) DO have to work at prooving they are not haters. Sucks but thats what he has done.

They can come out and celebrate all they want. I'm not scared of them one bit. I am by no means saying I support them, but honestly they are doing the SAME thing Hillary supporters are doing. Exercising their right to make their voice heard. Same thing with Kaepernack - He was exercising his right to speak his mind on his HATRED of cops. But people defended him saying it was his right. I don't get it. Do we want freedom of speech or not? If it doesn't fit the "agenda" it should not be done?
I do not support the KKK. Just wanted to make that clear before my words somehow get twisted.

As I understand it, Kaepernack was protesting racial oppression and injustice which yeah, is his right.
Freedom of speech is not absolute. You can't yell Fire in a movie theater. And the KKK is a disgusting HATE GROUP. They shouldn't get to scare and intimidate groups of people.

But they are a FEARED HATE GROUP and have no qualms about making their hatred of entire groups of people the focus of their actions. And, right or wrong, now they feel much more "accepted" by those in power. So, can you at least try to understand and empathize with why some people who are part of the targeted groups feel frightened by that? Instead of attacking, please, try to put yourself in others shoes. Maybe YOU don't personally feel any fear, but someone came on here, saying they do - so if your first response is to attack, you will start to be seen as part of the problem. At a time when most people are calling for healing and coming together, attacking someone who is afraid is not the way to make any of that happen. Please try to take a step back from the arguments of the past year and a half and see how now is a time to explain (not accuse), listen and empathize with those who are looking to feel like things will be ok despite their biggest fears coming to be a reality.

There are people on both sides who are assholes.
I am not grouping all of the Hillary supporters with the rioters and woman who shit in public to smear the trump sign or beat up a person because they said he voted trump
I will also not group all trump supporters to what everyone is posting here today.

I saw this posted on FB and hope that if I ever encounter anyone being harassed because of their skin color, religion, sexuality etc, that I will have the courage to step in. To the OP, please know that there are many millions of people out there who will never support hatred and DO have your back.

I agree with you. I heard about the woman who took a shit in front of a crowd of people, with people videoing it, etc, nd smeared it on Trump's picture. How much more disgusting can you get? I wonder if she will look back and be embarrassed one day???? How much lower can you get?

I do understand. And maybe I'm at fault assuming that this post was a direct attack to Trump supporters due to all the fire surrounding the election results. I just feel that any time a Trump supporter posts anything they immediately get attacked. This is the reason why I've stayed silent for a while and didn't voice any sort of opinion.
I am not a racist or a homophobe or anything that I have been accused of because I voted for Trump. And because there are animals like the KKK coming out of the woodworks trying to spread fear, I personally feel like I'm being attacked because of my choice.
Everyone has a right to be angry when their side loses. I had to deal with two disastrous terms with Obama as President, and apparently, so did a majority of America, as was reflected in Tuesday night's election results. Everyone also has a right to peacefully protest. However blocking traffic, screaming profanities, and inciting violence will not only get you no where, but weaken their self-righteous, delusional cause.
But let me be clear,. Clinton did not lose because she is a woman. Clinton lost because of her highly questionable ethics, her direct ties to corruption, and because she would have continued the disastrous policies of Obama that a huge portion of America rejected. And that isn't racism or sexism. That's what we like to call a free democracy.
I apoligise if my posts sound like I am attacking anyone. Its hard to get my point across without making it appear like I am doing so.
And sorry for my spelling. I just got a new iMac and I'm just getting used to this operating system.

I will keep repeating myself, as of Tuesday night unfortunately Trump supporters have to step up and defend those that are afraid for their rights. IMO its their responsibility now.

KKK having a parade for TRUMP
Not coming in on either side of the issue but I have an honest question.
Why is it assumed that because a group endorsed a candidate that the candidate endorses the group? Like the KKK supports Donald Trump but how do we know that Donald Trump supports what the KKK stands for. And this could be said for any candidate, just using the obvious right now. I am sure that many donators and endorsers of any candidate may do so because that candidate is more aligned with the organizations principle. But who is to say that the candidate supports the organization or even knows what the organizations does. Is that endorsement/donation a blanket acceptance of the organizations practices?
