Just came back from the Stony Brook Maternity Tour!
Well it sounds like the Labor & Delivery unit won't be complete until September now.
BUT the brand spanking new wing where you go after the baby is born is open and let me tell you it is nothing short of amazing!
Everything is just beautiful and private!

I am not due until Nov. so I guess I will get to see the new L & D unit.
Was this the Meet the Midwives tour or a separate tour that you went on?

This was different than meet the midwives. This was just a tour of the hospital & what you can expect to happen and while you're there from start to finish

Aww I'm bummed about the Labor & Delivery unit! But the maternity ward is gorgeous, I strangely enough can't wait to be there again...!

OH! The main entrance/lobby looks like an airport, AND there is a full on Starbucks right in the lobby!

Oh, LOL, I didn't know if the tour was part of the classes, must be separate. Sounds great! Thanks for the update.
