Is anyone not telling family members you are TTC

Im not because I don't want to hear every month are you pregnant yet. Although everyone has been asking and I just came back from my honeymoon.

I am also not telling any of my family that we are ttc, or my friends either for that matter. I just don't want the questions and anticipation they will have. I'd also like it to be a complete surprise when we tell them the good news (fingers crossed!).

I can't believe people are so rude as to ask you when you are having a baby and you just got back from your honeymoon!

people have an idea when we will be trying, but due to some reason health issues we were going through, immediate family stopped asking.

we're still deciding on when we're going to start TTC, but the one thing we do know is that we're not telling Anyone when we do.

I told my parents and my close friends. I kind of think that it's better to not tell anyone. I think I thought it would happen right away when I told people. Now I am in month 4 of trying and feel like everyone is holding their breath for me to give news.

I have only told my mother and my cousin, and I know they won't say anything to anyone.

Other then that... No one will know we are TTC or even prego until after the first tri-mester.

I have mentioned when we want to officially start... but I am not going to be like, "Game on".

Although, I am going away with my mom in two weeks and I am sure I will openly talk about it.

ETA- I have mentioned it to DH's sister but, have not said anything to my in laws.. she probably told MIL.. it's not a secret.

I told my mom, sister and close freind thinking it was going to happen sooner than later (Now into 6th month ttc). DH told his family wihtout me knowing becasue they kept on asking and he caved in. Initially everyone was watching what I drank and asking all the time(kinda of annoying to say the least). However, now they are finally realizing how sensitive we both are (since it is taking us longer than anyone thought) they have for the most part backed off. hth

I told a few people, which was a mistake. They ask you all the time, and when it takes months to happen to gets annoying.

We told my entire immediate family, and dh's mother, but thats it.

dhs father and grandmother both keep saying how we need to be married for 10 years and be millionaires before we have a baby, so have no desire to tell them and hear them be negative

We told them when we planned to start trying but we didn't tell anyone when we moved up the time frame. We figured it gave us a few months of no-stress trying.

I told my best friend and DH told his that we were TTC - that was it. We both felt it was important to have one person to talk to about questions, concerns, excitement - whatever may arise during the course of TTC - but we did not want the pressure or questions that would naturally arise from our families if they knew. We actually didn't tell anyone but those 2 best friends about our BFP (incl families) until after the first doctor's appointment at 8 weeks. It worked well for us.

I told my mom and sister. So far they been pretty good with not asking me a million times if I am pg yet. As for other family members and my ILs we are not saying anything till we actually get pg.

Immediate family has a hunch although we have never come out and said "ok, we are trying to get knocked up now".

We don't want too much added pressure so we are trying to keep it to ourselves.

I told everyone under the sun... I have a huge mouth.. I can't keep ANYTHING a secret even it is about me. So everyone knows everything.. I don't care though. I love having lots of people to support me and talk to about my frustrations.

DH and I made a deal that we would not tell anyone when we officially start in October/November. Too much pressure from family and I we don't want to deal with everyone.

i have told 2 friends and that's it. We are not telling any family members... because we don't want to hear the questions and they can't keep a secret to save their lives!

We will wait until the first trimester is over before telling anyone.

We didn't "announce" it, but my entire family knew we would start trying almost immediately after we got married because of our age. They were cute and asked if we were planning on having kids after we got married. After we said yes, they didn't ask any more questions.

We did not tell any of DH;s family. I told one of my sisters and a few of my closest friends who were also pregnant, TTC, or just had a baby.

It helps to have people to talk to about it...but in a way I do regret talking so openly with my sister and friends because it has become the ONLY topic of conversation.

DH and I agreed not to tell anyone but our best friends. Too much pressure and too many people asking "did it happen yet."

My parents have an idea that we want children at some point next year. My inlaws don't know.

Are families have no clue.. we have told a couple close friends though
