I was married to a Spanish man -- from Spain. That is OK except he was also the Latin Lover to a T.

My brother's wife is from Taiwan.

My DH is Sicilian - def. some African blood in there.

My sister's BF is black - not African American because his family was from West Indies...so he is a man of black skin but I don't know what to call him since black is not p.c. but he isn't Afro-American.... He calls himself black.

I primarily dated Puerto Rican & Cuban men before I met my husband. Living in NYC, we rarely had any problems. My DH is American-Scilian and I am American-Irish. He is by far the whitest scilian I have every known!

I found that hardest person to date was one who was not of the same religion as you. When I dated outside of the faith, there was all sorts of problems from his family. My parents didn't mind.
