I'm So Upset
WEll, I dont know if anyone remembers, but Dharma had an absess in her right anal gland a few months ago and it was horrible.....
Well, she started scooting again not yesterday, but the night before. I said to Kevin "i am gonna make a vet appointment Monday to get her anal glands drained".
(B/c I get paid Friday and didnt think it was serious b/c she always scoots alittle bit as it is)
Well, she was fine and normal this mornign and then I came home at 5:00.
OH MY GOD! Her left one is infected already! It was that quick.
I immediatly looked for her meds from last time and sure enough they were 99% empty.
I'm like, ok, I will have to bring her to the vet... WEll, thery were closed so I left a message and am hoping to get an appointment for tomorrow.
I cant stop crying now. This week is the hardest ever. I had to take off work to help my mom out, so I am already missing money, I only work 32 hours to begin with, so any money gone is serious. Then I realized my credit card is due and my minimum is $45. I need to refill MY perscription at $25. I am due to get another bag of dog food at like $25. Plus my rent, which I put away just under $200 a week.
I mean, she is DEF geoing tomorrow, she is my baby and comes first. I am just so upset b/c I honestly dont know how i am going to live this week. I know it sounds petty and ppl may say "well, you shouldnt have animals then" but thats dumb. I mean, i am totally putting them first, i am taking D to the vet and buying them food before i do ANYTHING. I am just upset b/c i think i need to find a new job. I am so tired of living from paycheck to paycheck. I make ok money, but i dont work enough hours and the cost of living here isnt cheap.
I am sorry to complina about my problems, I am just rally crying here and dont know what to do. I dont have any clue where money is going to come from this week.

i know. i am sure half hte people on here are as well. i just hate when i budget it and tehn something extravegant happens ya know.
i just am not good about it and i get paranoid and freak ou.t

Thanks everyone, i really needed it. i was crying and i went to lay down. i NEVER do that. i was totally depressed and stressing like never before.
some good news though!
D's gland ruptured (sorry, tmi) which is actually a GOOD thing! i will keep soaking it with water and stuff, and i think it will be better ina few days. Once it ruptured last time it was smooth sailing.
i DO have alittle more of the one medicine than i thought i did, so this will help as well.
if its not better by the weekend i will make an appointment for monday. but i think she is going to be OK! i cant believe how fast this happened. Last time it was over a few days and once it ruptured it got better quickly.
Also, i didnt realize, but DH said i can pay my cc now, we have enough in hte bank.
so now i just have to worry about all the little things, my perscription, dog food, etc etc.
i freaked for no reason.... this week is going to be tight, but itll be ok.

did you ever consider dog insurance???
It's a little expensive ($600.00 for the year) but it DOES cover a lot of the visits and meds.
Just a thought!
And take it from me...I was in debt for a LONG time. I had a stupid ex run me in the whole for around 15K! I was single getting paid about 26K a year! (yes!) and I was in my early 20's. I got through it nd have been debt free for over 5 years! NOT ONE BILL!
I actually took out a bank loan...combined all my bills and paid them all off with the loan money...I was paying 13% interest on teh loan...but it was ONE bill and only one interest charge.

God bless you. You have such a big heart. You should open up your very own animal clinic/shelter. If I had a pet, andI don't know you. there wouldn't be a better person for me to leave my animal with..

I am sorry.
I know its a clique (sp?) but sometimes things have to get worse before they get better.
I just was at a really low point in my life, I was really depressed about work, money, and life in general... things couldnt get any worse so they got better.
We are here for you.
