I should say hello first b4 asking questions
Hello! I'm new to LIF. I am going to be 39 in May. I never wanted to have children but about December something really strange happened- I wanted a baby. Not even a want but a yearning. Now it's all I think about. I was 5 wks. pg and went on a cruise and m/c on ship at 6 wks. Confirmed by Dr. visit when I got home. That was about a week ago.
Now i'm on a mission and all the odds are stacked against me. Age, 2 previous m/c's, and time. I'm not upset, i'm not giving up....all the fun is in the trying It will happen when it's meant to happen. Just giving a little background info.
I won't be on the boards as often as I would like to be but I will def be on.
I would just like to say hello to everyone and good luck!

Hey, I am so sorry for your loss.. M/c is awful... and on a cruise. I m/c at my high school reunion.. Just awful!!
Don't give up hope. My friends doctor, who is male, told her that in this day and age he could get himself pg. So don't worry. It will happen!

I am sorry for your losses, I have lost 2 pregnancies as well, and I am 39 too.
If you aren't already, Iwould suggest seeing a RE to have some testing done, maybe you had m/c b/c of progesterone or something that can be dealt with simply.

I am sorry to hear about your losses and welcome to the LIF boards. Given your history and concerns regarding your age, have you seen a Reproductive Endocrinologist? They are the fertility experts and might be able to help answer your questions and get you to your goal more quickly. Best of luck and
