I planned to register at BBB but....
ive been comparison shopping of all the items i want to get and there are some real price differences. BBB seems to have many items that are significantly higher priced than BRU.
Ive heard BRU is a real PITA when it comes to returns and customer service stinks but.... these price differences make sme want to reg at BRU. Maybe i will do both

This is one of the reasons why I picked BRU. It's seems like a lot of ladies on here do both, so maybe that will work out well for you!

Re: I planned to register at BBB but....
You can definitely do that. The good thing about BBB though is that people can use the 20% off coupons from Bed Bath & Beyond but they have to be current, from what I hear. They don't accept the expired ones.
I had no idea the prices were that different!

Prices were the reason I registered at BRU.
As for the BBB coupons, once you reguster at BRU, they send you a book of coupns each month.

You can definitely register at both! The reason that BBB is more expensive is that they generally carry more expensive patterns.

If the stuff there is really the stuff you like, register for it and have a BRU registry also with smaller and less expensive items

Re: I planned to register at BBB but....
I had a registry at both for that reason. BRU return policy changed to not let you return without a receipt and you have to return within a certain period of time. Makes it a pain if people give you a gift and don't give a gift receipt. However, every time I've bought something at BRU, they automatically give a gift receipt attached to the regular one.

Re: I planned to register at BBB but....
that's exactly why i did both!!! the price differences (check weekly - the prices CHANGE)....and because there were things that BBB had that i didn't want to sacrifice to register solely at BRU...
also - keep in mind that you can use the Bed Bath & Beyond coupons at Buy Buy Baby - so that helps keep the price down!!!!!!!!

Re: I planned to register at BBB but....
I did my furniture, bassinet, glider all at BBB. I also did like bassinet cover, crib mattress cover.
I did everything else at BRU.
My whole family was able to use those coupons on my major stuff at BBB. It all worked out!

Re: I planned to register at BBB but....
I registered at BRU because of the locations and I know a lot of ladies had issues with their return policy but I have to say that I had no problems returning anything. I thought that I would have issues and was worried but I was able to return things that weren't even on my registry nor had gift receipts for.
I love BBB too, but I also found that they did not have some items that I wanted that I saw at BRU. I don't see anything wrong with registering at both places and just price comparison shop between the two. Good luck!

Re: I planned to register at BBB but....
I compared all of the items that I was looking for, mainly the pricier items like stroller, infant carrier, car seats, swing and bouncy and the specific ones I wanted were the same price at both stores.
I guess it depends on what you want. I am going to register today at BBB.

I never received any coupons from BRU and I registered almost two months ago.
I also never received any Buy Buy Baby coupons after giving my email when I ordered my crib.
I think they all suck!!

Re: I planned to register at BBB but....
I didn't notice significantly higher prices at BBB but I registered at both places. I will tell you that I had about 30 people at my baby shower, got a ton of stuff from my registry, and only 2 gift receipts. This is the main reason I would stick with BBB. The return policy at BRU is ridiculous and after I had the baby, I realized that I registered for some things I didn't need or wanted to return for something I didn't get as a gift and needed more (like bottles).
